Lovely Autumn Monday!

Mornin'! It's 63°. At the moment, it's quiet and barely a breeze wafting over the island in the morning darkness. The sun will be rising in an hour or so and it'll pretty much be a repeat of yesterday as sun and vivid blue skies prevail throughout the day, although some clouds will be hanging out as well. Temps will hit the 70° mark as winds begin to pick up out of the West again at 10-20mph. By this afternoon they'll shift from the South and eventually diminish again as we head into the evening. High tide:11:09a.m.; Low tide:5:52p.m.; Ocean temp:67°; Sunset: 6:19p.m. Today's 22 years since the Loma Prieta earthquake created death, destruction and havoc in San Francisco and the surrounding areas. Thankfully, my sister and friend had escaped injury. It was captured on national TV during the Oakland Athletics and San Francisco Giants World Series baseball game. Scary Stuff. Thankfully Wildwood doesn't get earthquakes...NOT! On...8/23/11...5.8 magnitude right here on the ol' island!

After the earthquake they considered calling it "Wiggly Field".

dear God, Jim, your quips are endless! Glad to be a survivor of that quake - and of this one, too.

By the way, LOVE that shot of the cattle shoot onto the beach. Nothing like a little beach desolation after the creepy crowds disappear!

Henry, watch your feet and have a safe quip.
