Winter bluster in store today

Mornin'! It's 32° in Wildwood as darkness prevails under clear, starlit skies. Sunrise is due in about an hour. Thankfully, the sun will accompany the onslaught of this very cold morning. It'll be a mix of sun and clouds today though as a real taste of winter and its bluster will be felt. Temps won't get much higher than the low-30's today and due to the NW winds at 15-25mph with 35mph gusting, Wildwood will have its first chill factor...as it will feel like its in the mid-teens. When the clouds enter into the scene later, we may see Delaware Bay Effect snow showers this afternoon. If you haven't dug out the woolies, it's time; if only for a few days. High tide:3:01p.m.; Low tide:9:10a.m.; Ocean temp: 51°; Sunset: 4:51p.m. 77 days until Spring!

I looked out of Mario's bedroom window to view the ocean at sunrise this morning and the thought of a 'widow's walk' entered my mind. Add the perspective of your photo today and my mind went to the Beatles' song including, "There were bells on a hill, but I never heard them ringing?" The truth is that I was looking for the bell in your picture before the words of the song actually entered my mind. Weird, huh?
