The Jewel still sparkles

Mornin'!  It's a balmy 68° in Wildwood as the Jewel of all seasons continue this first weekend in October.  That temp is what my back deck thermostat reads and that's what it reads on August mornings for the most part.  We're in the thick of a pleasant Indian Summer as of late and it's just perfect on the island. The last of the stars have just disappeared this early morn.  Ms sun's due up in less than an hour however, there's thick cloud cover along the horizon making today's sunrise shot even more interesting.  Skies are clear for the most part though.  No breezes as it's very calm and quiet.  It'll be sunny with breezes off the ocean (East) at 8-10mph and temps in the mid-70s.  Tonight...back into the 60s and tomorrow almost a repeat of today except breezier.  This weekend on the island is jammed packed with events.  Check yesterday's blog.
High tide: 8:39a.m.
Low tide: 2:44p.m.
Ocean temp: 67°
Sunset: 6:36p.m.
