Chill's back!

Mornin'!  It's 43° in the Woods!  Add to that blustery winds from the NW at 25-30 (+gusting) and you have a slap in the face wake up call this morning...brrrr.  The sky is clear and lightening welcome daybreak as I type.  Ms. Sun should be passing the horizon in just about a half hour.  She'll stay checked in today too as the clouds will be few and far between as those NW winds will unfortunately stick around and provide lots of bad hair-dos as they won't settle down until dinner time.  Temps will barely tap the 50s as high 40s look to be the main number in today's forecast.  The weekend's looking sunny with a temperatures on the warmer (60s) side.  Get this...there's a potential for a Nor'easter and I'm talking the "S" word for the middle of next week.  Remember Sandy?  Duh!  Remember the USA weather projections were predicting a "miss" of that ol' Superstorm and it would barely skirt our coasts?  On the other hand, Great Britain (European) forecasts were predicting a direct hit on our coasts.  Well, guess what?  The European forecasts are currently saying that this upcoming Nor'easter were looking down the barrel at is going to hit our coast and give us 6" of the white stuff (not ready to type the "S" word just yet) next week.  So, you've been warned; enough said for now.  I will continue to keep up on that forecast.  Today, I'd pack the hairspray and an extra sweater, hoodie or jacket.
