Winter's knocking

Sean McDermott's  (NW Rec Dept) Minotaur Rocket Shot!
Mornin'!  It's 35° this very cold start to the day.  Wildwood's got a wintry bite in the air.  It's clear and starlit with the sunrise due up in about an hour.  It'll be a mix of clouds and sun today as temps crawl back up to just about the 50° mark.  Winds will be out of the NE at 10-15mph.  Spent quite awhile on the dark, cold beach last night waiting for the Nasa Minotaur Orbitor Launch.  It was a tad too cold to hang around.  I needed a nice roaring bonfire (next one is the Elks bonfire on 12/7) to ride that wait out.  But, I did get to see the launch within an hour of arriving home.  What an incredible thing to see!
High tide:9:13a.m.
Low tide:3:29p.m.
Ocean temp: 52°
Sunset:4:43p.m.

I saw the launch from Venice Park around 8:15 last night. You could see the different stages drop off. Cool.
