Winter Wednesday

The "Wall" and "Hereford Lighthouse"
Mornin'! It's "winter wednesday" or, "cruel joke wednesday"!  How can you make the words display frustration?  How's "a layer of crunchy ice everywhere" or "it's 34° with a 25° chill factor" in Wildwood?  The winds are-a-howling... N-NW at 25-35mph +gusting!  Actually, it sounds like the hyper-loop or metro-liner is speeding down our street.  The sky is clear, starlit and moonlit.  The dog wouldn't go out when I opened the back door with a gust of winter air smacking us in the face.  When he got the encouraging push he needed to proceed, poor little thing slipped on the ice on the back porch.  I'm about to curl up in a fetal position until summer but Key West is in 9 days and I'm in the midst of getting summer attire sorted.  It's going to feel more like turtle-neck and scarf weather today as temps barely tap the mid-40's with winds howling from the North at 20+mph.  Thank goodness we'll have plenty of sun.  Tonight...clear and back into the 30s with winds still roaring out of the NE.  Tomorrow...a "repeat of today"...now there's some more words of frustration.
