Tuesday Mix

Mornin'!  It's 65° in Wildwood.  We're currently having a mild, very breezy morning as the almost full moon (Hunter's Moon) and stars are shining brightly and illuminating the island.  The breezes will continue from the S-SW at 19-24mph and tonight even stronger winds...S-SW at 28-40mph w/gusting.  Hang on tight!  Today we'll have a mix as Ms Sun will rise and shine while the clouds begin to check in and create gray covering a bit later.  There's even a 20% chance of a stray shower this afternoon.  Temps will reach the low 70s.  Tonight...there's a 80% chance of rain and/or scattered thunderstorms as winds, thunder and lightning knock us around a bit probably waking us from our slumber. Temps back into the low-mid 60s.  Wednesday and Thursday look like the winners this week as the clearing will come back by late morning tomorrow.  It could be a tad too late in clearing as a lunar eclipse is due up tomorrow morning right before daybreak and those pesky clouds cloud ruin our show.  We missed that last one in the Spring due to clouds!  Oh...I hate reporting this but the weekend's not looking too good as it's possibly a washout.  Geez, I hope not as I've been smacking my lips for some wine tasting at the Cape May Wine Fest.  Last but not least...since the moon's almost full keep a watch on tidal flooding as the streets have been showing the intensity of the moon's pull by filling with seawater.
High tide:7:27a.m. and 7:15p.m.
Low tide:1:30p.m.
Ocean temp:69°
Sunset:6:34p.m.

There was a Lunar Eclipse a few years ago in Decemeber. Weather on the East Coast was somewhat cloudy that night, but you could still catch a good view of it.
There is hope.
