A Weekend Mix of Weather

Mornin'!  It's a lovely start to the day with temps at 62°, Ms Sun's shining brightly, a light breeze out of the S-SW is wifting (I mean wafting) over the island at 12-15mph and the birds (including those seagulls) are chirping everywhere.  My windows are open and life is good down the shore.  Things may change according to a few forecasts I've checked out.  First, the breezes will pick up (remaining from the S-SW) at 18-25mph as there's a good chance of showers beginning later this afternoon.  Temps will get into the low-mid 70s as this afternoon will have some more cloud cover with possible peeks of sun but there's another chance of rain early evening.  Tonight...down to the mid-upper 60s with winds remaining out of the S-SW at 18-20mph and those chance of showers are still on the menu throughout the night and overnight.  Even a thunderstorm can't be ruled out. And, we may wake up to showers tomorrow morning.  I didn't realize that showers would play such a big part of the weekend weather...didn't see that coming.
High tide:7:06a.m. and 7:31p.m.
Low tide:12:57p.m.
Ocean temp:58°
