Hump Day Bluster

Mornin'!  It's 26° in Wildwood!  Add to that the W-NW winds (27-30mph) and you get 16° in Wildwood.  It's very cold and blustery.  The good thing is there's no layer of white outside.  If we had snow showers and/or flurries during the overnight there's no evidence of it.  The sky is clear and starlit and Ms Sun's on her way to warm things up.  We're going into the 30s today...low 30's but 30s just the same.  Those hideous winds will be staying checked in I'm sorry to report.  They've got the freight train sounds as they've been blasting over the island since early last evening and will continue to annoy us today.  Tonight...more winds out of the W-NW at 21-25mph w/gusting,  clear and cold and temps back down into the mid 20s.  Tomorrow...sunny and back to a bit warmer temps into the upper 40s.  At this point the weekend's looking "eh"...rain showers ending Saturday morning and partly cloudy on Sunday.  Saturday's the 10th Annual Polar Plunge at 1p.m. and I'd venture to say...it'll be balmy with temps in the upper 40s.  But, those darn winds...won't be easy standing on the enormous beach in a bikini for the "on your marks..."!
High tide:10:05a.m.
Low tide:4:14p.m.
Ocean temp:46°
Sunset:5:00p.m. (yay...now in the 5 o'clock hour!)
