Wet Sunday

Mornin'!  It's 67° in Wildwood.  Humidity's 96%. We've got gray skies, fog and mist. Breezes have just begun to made their presence known out of the SW 8-10mph.  There's that "drippy" sound coming from trees, downspouts, roofs etc.  Everything's soaked but it's not raining.  You get that a lot on an island.  It'll be a rainy one today once things get rolling.  There's a 90% chance of rain and scattered thunderstorms (some could be severe) with winds out of the SW at 15-18mph.  Temps will hover in the mid-upper 70s range.  Tonight...more of the same with temps back down into the lo-mid 60s and breezes out of the W-SW at 17-23mph. At least we got one day (yesterday) this weekend with perfect summer weather. For that I'm very grateful.  Got to Wildwood's Farm Market at Pacific and Schellenger Aves for some produce, the Beach tcheck out the vintage beach buggies and motor cycles for the Gentlemen's Race and was lucky enough to catch the kick off of the Elks Parade as The Wildwood Elks were leading them on! Nice day. Today...not so much.
High tide:8:49a.m.
Low tide:2:38p.m.
Ocean temp:63°
Sunset:8:24p.m.
FOOTNOTE: It's 10a.m. and Ms Sun keeps peeking out as the island's drying out.  The local weather man is saying the rains and possible thunderstorms may be developing much later than first expected...5-10p.m. Yay!
