Full Thunder Moon / Full Buck Moon / Full Hay Moon

Mornin'!  It's 73° in Wildwood NJ.  It's partially cloud covered out there with very light breezes and Ms Sun's over the horizon trying to break on through the clouds.  The sky is turning beautiful shades of pink and gold just where she's peeking out.  It'll be mostly sunny with a bit of cloud cover in the mix and less humid today.  The temps will be in the upper 80s with breezes out of the N-NW at 8-10mph.  There's is a 20% chance of a passing thunderstorm later.  We had heavy storm last evening giving everything a good watering not to mention winds, thunder and lightning. No storm damage from those scary as hell clouds which began to open up and pour down. Tonight...partly cloudy with temps in the low 70s and breezes out of the SW then becoming North at 5-10mph.  It's the Full Moon (6:59p.m.) so keep your eye on those high tides and don't drive through any tide water.
High tides:8:18a.m. and 8:33p.m.
Low tide:2:06p.m.

Sunset:8:23p.m.
UV Index: 9 (high)
Rip Current: Low

Moon Name trivia
...July is normally the month when the new antlers of buck deer push out of their foreheads with a coating of velvety fur and is why the full moon in July is referred to as the Full Buck Moon.  It was also call the Full Thunder Moon due to all the thunderstorms that occur this time of the year.  Another name is the Full Hay Moon as fields are fragrant with the first cut of hay as well as barns and lofts are filling with fresh baled hay for the winter months to come.
