More Coastal Flood Advisories Posted today

Photo taken by North Wildwood Recreation Dept
Mornin'!  Happy October! It's 65° in Wildwood NJ.  Current conditions are windy (E-NE 20-24mph), gray, misty and some fog.  No rain pouring down at the moment but the forecasts are saying periods of scattered rain (including the possibility of thundershowers) throughout the day.  Temps will get up a bit higher and just tap 70° with stiff winds continuing into the evening.  Tonight...temps back down into the upper 60s with more misty rain and/or showers with winds out of the SE at 12-18mph.  We've been getting nailed with this huge nor'easter storm that won't release us out of its grasp.  It's been pummeling our coast relentlessly for a couple of days now and it'll continue to do so today. Coastal Flooding should be expected again. The ocean keeps taking back our beach! It's also looking like tomorrow could be the day that Ms Sun's going to check back in!  Yay!  Wildwood's Italian Fest has been cancelled. Nothing's been posted on the Police and Fire Survivors Weekend so it looks like it's still happening
High tide:8:53a.m. and 9:06p.m.
Low tide:2:47p.m.
Ocean temp:73°
Sunset:6:44p.m.
Rip Currents: High (red zone...don't enter the surf!)
