Mostly Lovely Today

Wildwood's notorious "fake" palm trees (they're everywhere)
Mornin'!  It's 63° in Wildwood NJ.  It's sunny with blue skies and a light breeze (NE 3-5mph).  It's a very lovely morning.  Once again the seagulls are laughing all around the neighborhood completing the loveliness.  It'll be sunny throughout most of the day with temps in the low-mid 70s and breezes out of the W-NW at 5-10mph.  There's a 20% chance of an afternoon rain shower passing through but only one forecast is mentioning that.  Tonight...clear with temps in the low-mid 60s and breezes out of the West at 8-10mph.  We're back to a 50-50 weekend with tomorrow being the better of the two days as Sunday looks a tad more cloudy with a 40% chance of rain showers late in the day.  I forgot to mention yesterday that it was the start to hurricane season.  It runs from June 1st to November 30th.  The hype this year is that it's going to be worse than usual.  NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) predicts 11-17 named storms developing into hurricanes this year with two-four being "major".  In an average season The Atlantic ocean produces up to 12 named storms, six hurricanes with two being major hurricanes.  Preparedness is key.  That's all I have to say.
