Remnants of Cindy coming to Wildwood

Mornin'!  It's 69° in Wildwood NJ.  It's currently sunny and windy (S-SW 15-20mph) as remnants of tropical storm Cindy is interacting with a frontal system heading right for the Mid-Atlantic States as I type.  We could have some major storming with tidal flooding and damaging winds the first half of today.  The doppler seems to indicate that the worst of it is heading North of us.  With that said...expect some thunder boomers and rain and gusty winds this morning passing over the coast as it heads out to sea.  Winds will be somewhere in the vicinity of 25-35mph w/gusting 40+mph as temps head up to the mid-80s.  Once the storms pass through it'll be a mix of clouds and sun and still breezy West 20-30mph.  Tonight...mix of clouds and starlit skies with temps down into the upper 60s with winds out of the W-NW at 5-10mph. Tomorrow...still looking near perfect...plentiful sunshine, light breezes and temps in the low-mid 80s.
High tide:8:49a.m.
Low tide:2:37p.m.
Ocean temp:70°
Sunset:8:30p.m.
UV Index: 10 (high)
Rip Currents: moderate
FOOTNOTE: After posting the blog, the rains began to fall.  No thunder or lightning but a nice steady, some-what moderate rainfall is watering the shrubbery at the moment.  Good time to check the Webcams!
ANOTHER FOOTNOTE: It's 10a.m. and we've got blue, sunny skies, refreshing breezes, less humidity and what seems to be a very pleasant Saturday morning.  I'm thinking "farmers market".
