Tropical Weekend Weather

Mornin'!  It's 72° in Wildwood NJ.  It's currently cloudy and damp as the remnants of last night's storms have everything wet and dreary.  It's feeling a bit tropical outside as the humidity's 93% and dewpoint is 71.  No breezes to note.  All the outdoor plants and shrubs are smiling after that evening/overnight watering.  Ms Sun probably will miss her grand entrance this morning with all the leftover thick cloud cover, but she's checking back in later this morning. It'll eventually become a mostly sunny day with breezes out of the W-NW at 5-10mph and temps in the low-mid 80s.  Tonight...mostly clear with temps back in the low 70s and breezes out of the NW at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow...just about the same with W-SW breezes.  No rain in sight for the weekend!
High tide:1:12p.m.
Low tide:6:33a.m. and 7:01p.m.
Ocean temp:74°
Sunset:8:25p.m.
UV Index:8-10 (very high)
Rip Currents:Low Risk

3:39 and its raining cats and dogs at North Wildwood Beach.
Luckily, I was just parking!! Hoping it passes quickly.
Watching people making mad dashes to get to their cars with chairs and boogie boards over their heads which unfortunately isn't helping!!

@lisapooh All day yesterday the sky looked "iffy" and "threatening" and didn't seem to want to clear. My husband kept looking at the Doppler saying he didn't trust those clouds. As the morning turned into afternoon, it just seemed to get worse with the ugly cloud cover although the sun peeked out at times. We opted to stay in as I spent the afternoon cleaning the bedroom closet instead of being out and about enjoying the Shore. I have to admit though I've been there with "those people" making the mad dash to my vehicle when those ominous clouds opened up! Hope you got some fun time in though. Thanks for reporting in though...I really appreciate hearing from my readers.

Yes, we waited it out. It passed in about 15 minutes and was beautiful out. Stayed at the beach until 7pm.
Love those Wildwood Beach Days and always enjoy your blog!!
