Unofficial End of Summer

Mornin'!  It's 66° in sunny Wildwood NJ.  Happy Labor Day!  The "Jewel" of the season is upon us!  That time of year when the weekdays are back to that quiet, emptiness on the island everywhere you look.  The weekends will continue to be full of visitors but the ghost-town deserted feel is the norm during the weekdays beginning today. This unofficial end of Summer (the Fall Equinox is actually September 22nd) that is also a Federal Holiday always falls on the first Monday in September honoring the American Labor Movement.  In 1894 President Cleveland signed legislation to put it into Law that we celebrate this annual workforce holiday.  Labor Day has had its share of miserable weather as we close out the season, but not today.  It'll be a splendid weather day with plentiful sunshine, temps tapping 80°, SW breeze at 5-15mph.  Tonight...clear, 70°, S-SW breezes at 10-20mph.  Tomorrow...more of the same with rains due in tomorrow night.
