Snowy Saturday

Mornin'!  It's 34° in snowy Wildwood NJ.  It's gray and breezy with North winds at 15-20mph and a light wintry mix coming down (I can hear the icy pellets hitting the upstairs skylight and some of my windows) as all the surfaces other than the streets are covered in the white stuff.  The streets are wet and icy looking but they're not...the ground surface is still on the warm side providing instant meltdown when the wet/white/icy stuff hits.   I'd say about 3"  of heavy white snow fell throughout last evening but the sidewalks and streets are clear and visible.  The lawns, trees, bushes, outdoor furniture, cars, railings, etc etc are covered in white though and it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!  It'll stay like that all day into tonight with gray, cold, snowy conditions.  Temps will hover around where they are now as N-NE winds will be 16-22mph.  Tomorrow...this cold, wet, nasty stuff will probably still be coming down in the early morning but Ms Sun's waiting to melt things down and shine most of the day.  Made 5 different batches of cookie dough last night all waiting to be baked as it's a great day for it (not to mention...this weekend's homemade soup is escarole (Italian wedding).  Last weekend's was beef barley.  Soup season's been excellent this year down the shore.
