Mostly Sunny Sunday

Mornin'!  It's 75° in Wildwood NJ.  It's sunny!  We just had a cluster of cloudy days with rain (heavy at times), thunderstorms and even some decent flooding in the streets yesterday.  It's drying out as Ms Sun's doing her thing.  No breezes to note.  It'll be partly sunny / partly cloudy today with temps just tapping 80° and breezes commencing from the E-SE at 9-11mph.  There's is a 15-25% chance of a passing shower later this morning and early afternoon.  Tonight...mostly clear, temps in the mid-70s with breezes out of the S-SE at 8-10mph.  Tomorrow...more of the same.  The season's definitely closing down.  It's packed on the island as parking spaces are scarce.  Late last night as I sat alone on my back porch, the neighborhood had quieted down but I could hear the island all around me.  I heard the screams on the rides and various sounds of music everywhere in the distance.  There was a lot of foot traffic and laughing and folks just enjoying the vacation scene.  I began to realize that this will be all gone in only hours.  Labor Day usually marks the end of the summer vacation season.  It's not over though as the lovely warm weather will continue for at least another month.  It's basically down to weekend crowds after Labor Day.  But those choosing this time of year for their R and R, it's considered "The Jewel" and it'll be just that this upcoming week.  Happy Labor Day Weekend!
