Not So Calm After The Storm

Mornin'!  It's 61° in Wildwood NJ.  What a night...the Storm has passed! Thankfully we received no damage from this one.  When I look at the photos and see the news reports on what Hurricane Michael did to those suffering its direct hit, it's unfathomable what the photos reveal.  The wrath of Mother Nature cannot be compared.  Fortunately, our little island only suffered some relentless, non-stop winds and minor flooding (the car is still 3 blocks away on higher ground and I'm assuming A-OK) and we're still looking like we did yesterday...pretty much unscathed.  Although there's someone's siding parts, tree branches along with trash strewn everywhere.  Parts of my backyard are still under a tiny bit of water.  Anyway, lots to be thankful for this morning.  It's sunny with the humidity gone (75%) with those winds out of the NW at 25-35mph +gusting.  It'll be sunny today with temps in the mid-60s and NW winds at 28-35mph decreasing by this afternoon to 17-22mph.  Wind gusting will be here throughout the day.  Tonight...partly cloudy with a 20% chance of precipitation on the overnight and temps in the get this...low 50s with NW winds simmered down at 11-17mph.  Tomorrow...30% chance of rain showers with temps barely tapping the 60s and Sunday being the sunnier day with temps in the mid-60s.
