Winter's Here!

Christmas in July - North Wildwood NJ
Mornin'!  It's 54° in Wildwood NJ.  The Winter Solstice is today!  It's the shortest day of the year as daylight finally begins to grow longer with each passing day!  We're receiving some light rain over the island at the moment... cloudy and gray and wind-driven.  Winds are stiff out of the South at 15-20mph +gusting.  No flood sirens blaring or flooding in the streets and we made it through the last high tide unscathed.  I think we're out of the woods with island flooding today.  Expect periods of rain and possibly a thunderstorm or two today (before 2p.m. and again after 4p.m.).  Temps will rise and tap 60°!  It'll stay breezy throughout the day and night and right into tomorrow with Southerly winds at 18-25mph (gusts up to 35mph).  Tonight... cloudy with a slight chance of showers and temps in the low 40s and still very windy (S-SW at 20-30mph +gusting).  Tomorrow... Ms Sun returns along with those gusty winds staying checked in.  Happy Winter Y'all!
High tide:6:50p.m.
Low tide:12:38p.m.
Ocean temp:44°
Sunset:4:42p.m.
