Crapola Thursday

Throwback Thursday
Me on Wildwood beach - circa 1955
Mornin'!  It's 46° in Wildwood NJ.  It's raining.  It's breezy... E-SE at 15-20mph.  It's noisy... the breezes howling along with the ocean's roar is loud and clear this early morn (and that's inside the house).  No sunrise today.  There was no full moonrise last evening either due to the cloud cover.  It began raining even before turning in last night. For today... expect a raw and rainy day down the Shore as all forecasts are reporting 100% chance of rain with stiff winds out of the E-SE at 20-30mph +gusting.  Temps will be in the upper 40s.  Tonight... rain likely (70% chance) with temps in the low 40s and SE winds shifting to the W-SW at 20-30mph +gusting.  Doubt if we'll have a moonrise tonight either.  It'll be a crapola day and evening for sure.  We'll probably see tidal flooding due to the rains along with that Super Moon's leftover gravitational pull.  Remember... don't drive through salty, corrosive flood waters!  The weekend's looking like typical March weather with partly sunny skies and very blustery winds making the wind chill (mid-upper 20s) go right through you.
High tide:8:57a.m. and 9:27p.m.
Low tide:3:04p.m.
Ocean temp:41°
Sunrise:6:59a.m.
Sunset:7:14p.m.
Moonrise:8:05p.m.
