Rally Day

Mornin'!  It's 39° in Wildwood NJ.  It's gray and overcast with heavy cloud cover.  There is a thin line of clear, bright sky along the horizon as Ms Sun is beginning to show herself way out over the ocean. However, the island is dark and ominous this morning as helicopters once again woke me hovering over my roof just after 6am as it too dealt with the heavy clouds.
It's Rally Day as #45 comes to the Wildwood Convention Center tonight.  The Rally-Folk have been here since Sunday beginning their lineup in the Cattleshoots strategically placed in the Center's parking lot.  I couldn't help but think of how cold they all were throughout the night as I snuggled into my warm, cozy bed last night.  They're actually parking here in my neighborhood (6+ blocks away from the action) as I type. The "no parking zones" are posted everywhere.  There's a 6-block circumference around the Convention Center neighborhoods preventing any cars from parking. Most streets have blockades as well. The frozen folk will be allowed into the Convention Center beginning at 3PM. On a good note... I hear the Protestors are assembling around dinner time (5-6pm) at the Convention Center area.
Today will have a mix of clouds and sun (maybe sunshine) as temps climb up a bit to the mid-40s.  Winds are currently out of the NW at 10-15 and will ramp up to 10-20mph (windchill in the low-mid 30s).  It'll surely feel raw and cold.  Tonight... partly cloudy, temps in the upper 30s and winds still out of the NW at 10-15mph.  Tomorrow... Ms Sun returns as well as normalcy and the Winter peace and quiet.  It looks like a mostly sunny day in the low-40s and less wind.
