Leap Year!

Mornin'!  It's 31° in Wildwood NJ this last day of February.  As for this extra day this year of 2020... we have "leap years" because in reality it takes the Earth 365¼ days to circle the Sun (solar year) which means our Calendar is off a ¼ of a day every year.  So every 4 years we add that extra day to February to even things out for the Calendar.  This recent month of February was really kind to us this year.  As there was not a drop of snow along with many of those beautiful, unseasonable "warmish" days. I truly appreciated that. Not sure what's coming beginning tomorrow for the next 31 days with you know who at the front door.
We're currently under a clear sky as it lightens with Ms Sun's rays this early morning.  Sunrise is in about 4 minutes.  Breezes are light out of the W-NW at 10-12mph.  Expect a sunny start with afternoon cloudiness.  Temps will get into the upper 30s with blustery conditions.  W-NW winds are on the menu at 15-25mph +gusting so expect that windchill.  Tonight... partly cloudy with temps in the upper 20s / low 30s with NW winds sticking around at 15-25mph making for a 20° windchill.  Tomorrow... sunny, warmer (mid-40s) and those W-NW winds at 10-20mph +gusting. Monday... even warmer and partly sunny and windy.  Strap in as March is knocking and is usually brutal when it comes to those cold, unrelenting, coastal winds.  March is a pain in my ass.  Sorry, I had to.  Until next year February...
