Last Day Of April With High Wind Warning Posted

Mornin'!  It's 57° in Wildwood NJ.  It's gray and blustery.  We have a blow out of the S-SE at 20-25mph +gusting.  We're under thick ominous cloud cover as the sound of the ocean crashing the shore is loud and clear from 6+blocks away.  The birds are much quieter this morning as the winds are roaring around the island.  It's going to be windy throughout the day (High Wind Warnings are posted through to this evening) and night with rain developing this afternoon.  There's still potential for heavy rainfall.  Temps will tap 60° as chance of rain is 90% with SE winds at 25-35mph +gusting.  Tonight... 100% chance of steady rainfall with showers continuing overnight.  Rainfall could reach an inch.  Temps will drop into the low-mid 50s with S-SE winds at 25-35mph +gusting but will decrease by bedtime to 10-20mph.  Tomorrow... 40% chance of rain showers with thunder possible and not as windy as today.  Saturday looks sunny and mild with less windy conditions and Sunday... partly sunny.  Not sure what next year's April will bring but I hope and pray it doesn't come near what this April has been like.  Like... 300 days long.  I realize April showers brings May Flowers but I can only imagine what May will really bring to Wildwood this year. Pray it's not COVID-19.  God bless us all!
