Cinco De Mayo!!!

Mornin'!  It's 50° in Wildwood NJ.  Happy Cinco De Mayo! Red sky in the morning! This morning's colorful sky was just spectacular with shades of red, coral, crimson, pink, and of course sangria!  It made me think of The "Red Sky" restaurant which was one of my favorite places to enjoy a terrific Mexican dinner in Upper Township/Seaville area which closed its doors several years ago.  Shame... I still miss it.  Today's annual celebration is due to the Battle of Puebla being won by the Mexicans over the French in 1862.  It's been giving Americans an excuse to load up on tacos, tequila and margaritas and is celebrated by more Americans than folks in Mexico.  Obviously not this year.
We're currently under cloud cover while Ms Sun is doing her best to paint the clouds .  Breezes are light out of the NW at 6-8mph.  Expect a mix of clouds and sun this morning giving way to a  mostly cloudy day.  Temps will just about tap 60° with W-NW breezes at 10-15mph.  Tonight... still cloudy with 10% chance of a shower or two.  Temps will drop into the upper 40s with S-SE breezes at 10-15mph.  Tomorrow... more gray skies with 50% chance of rain and temps in the low-50s.
My tortillas, salsa, avocados, limes and cilantro to name a few things are in the house!  I'm ready to enjoy the taste of Cinco De Mayo with hubby later!
