The Storm Has Passed

Mornin'!  It's 66° in Wildwood NJ.  Humidity's 81% with a dew point of 60°.  We're dry after overnight rainfall.  Winds are out of the N-NW at 15-22mph.  We've got plenty of ominous cloud cover but it seems they're breaking up all around us as Ms Sun is doing her best to shine through.  Our coast in Cape May County missed another bullet as those Ida remnants hammered what seemed like everyone west and north of us.  This storm system dropped rainfall which didn't begin until late last evening.  The winds were incredibly strong all day as we hunkered down after readying the outdoor things.  We made it through without any damage or flooding.

For today's weather... it's amazingly different this morning.  It definitely feels like a first day of school day with  66° temps which took me right to my air conditioner dial as it's now turned off.  All windows are finally opened letting in the fresh, breezy, sea air.  These leftover clouds will gradually clear out today as it becomes sunny with today's temps getting  into the mid-70s.  Expect a breezy day as the North winds will be around 15-20mph.  Tonight... clear, temps in the upper 50s/low 60s with those North winds at 10-15mph.  Tomorrow... sunny, mid-70s and NW winds at 10-15mph.  Saturday... sunny, mid-70s, North winds at 5-10mph.  Sunday... sunny, upper 70s.  And, Monday... sunny, low-80s.
