Mornin'! It's 64° this partly sunny/partly cloudy first day of Autumn and last day of the Irish Fest. There's a breeze coming from the NW at 15mph and is expected to ramp up a bit 20+mph today. Forecasts I've checked say a sunny Sunday with mild temps - low 70s. Looking good today as well for this first week of Autumn. Clear tonight heading back down into the 50's.
Morning! I made it for a morning blog as it's almost noon. Been busy with Irish prep...soda bread, ham/cabbage/potatoes and why not...more jello shots! Been a nice Irish Fest weekend so far. First time our little grandson is making his seashore debut. He's doing beautifully as he's soaking up the salt air and seabreezes. A little sand in his toes and he's in...hook, line and sinker! It's perfect weather for him too as the sun's shining; no humidity and light breezes (out of the South at 12-15mph). It'll be tapping the mid-70's with sun and breezes all day. Tonight the breezes will be ramping up out the SW at 20-25mph +gusting. A cold front will be bringing rain overnight. Tomorrow...rain to start, then more sunshine. It's all good!
Mornin'! It's 71° in Wildwood. We're currently under damp, humid, cloudy conditions as the storms from last night have left us in their wake. It'll all change today though as after a possible morning scattered shower or two (30% chance), the rest of this cloudy/rain system will head out to sea and the blue sky returns. It'll be partly sunny today with temps in the more comfortable range...mid 70's. Breezes will be out of the NW at 10-15mph. This weekend's Firefighter Convention is having nice weather as it's looking sunny with Saturday's temps getting down into the 60's giving us some sweater weather and a nice taste of Autumn. It's ironic that vast amounts of area Firefighters with all their apparatus and equipment are in Wildwood this weekend while the Hurricane Sandy injured coast of Seaside Heights' (our northern neighbor) boardwalk burned to the ground last night. There's no end to the damage of what fire and water can do. Somehow I guess it makes mankind more resilient.
Mornin'! It's get this...59° in Wildwood. The cool, autumn air is upon us. It really feels like the first day of school weather. It'll be just tapping the 70° mark today. You read that right...it may not come out of the 60s today. My bets are on the low-70s as Ms Sun will be shining brightly in that vivid blue, seashore sky. And, she's still providing some heavy duty warmth. Breezes will be out of the N-NE at 8-11mph. Tomorrow looks pretty much the same and Sunday perhaps a chance of rain. Today though...light sweater weather or maybe not. Oh...and it's great Harley weather!![]() |
