Gray Hump Day this First day of February

February 2010 - "Snowmageddon"
Mornin'!  It's 39° this cloudy and overcast morning.  Welcome February!  February always gives me the eyebrow up kind of skepticism as this month certainly can go both ways as far as Winter goes.  January was kind to us this year but February...eh...could make or break us (like February 2010 when we were without electric for 6 days thanks to "Snowmageddon" which took us way down). A couple good things happened from that historic storm...it pushed us to book our first of many trips to Key West after digging out.  I now look at it as the month that wraps up Winter with my fingers crossed. It's almost over. So welcome February as Spring is just around the corner!  It'll be yet another mostly gray day down the shore with no breezes to note at the moment but they'll wift (waft) in later from the W-SW at 14-18mph.  Temps will be in the low-mid 40s.  Tonight...more clouds with temps in the upper 30s / low 40s and breezes out of the West at 12-15mph.  Ms Sun checks back in tomorrow.
High tide:10:50a.m.
Low tide:4:49p.m.
Ocean temp:42°
Sunset:5:23p.m.
