Hasta La Vista February You Were Pretty Kind To Us This Year!

Mornin'!  It's 37° in Wildwood NJ. We're under some cloud cover with not much in the line of breezes (N-NE at 2-4mph).  Ms Sun's just about over the horizon creating some spectacular colors in the sky.  It's fragrant with briny salt air hitting the olfactory senses when walking out the door.  It's quiet with the distant sound of the waves crashing as the clouds insulate the island.  It'll be a mostly sunny day this last day of February as these morning clouds drift on outta here.  Temps will be in the low 40s with N-NE breezes at 10-15mph.  Tonight... clouds drift back over us as temps head back into the low 30s with E-NE breezes at 8-10mph.  Tomorrow looks like a "wet" day welcoming March into the fold.  Oh... I just can't wait for March to get here (and get out of here).  Expect rain/snow showers the first half of the day (temps will hover around the low-mid 30s) which will turn to rain the latter part of the day (temps in the upper 30s/low 40s).  The weekend's still looking partially wet with on and off rain showers yet Ms Sun could be peeking through as well.  My guess is that it'll feel cold and raw one way or another.  March would never let us down!

Sunny Start - Gray Finish

Mornin'!  It's 31° in Wildwood NJ.  Happy 1st Birthday to our dear little Lana.  We're under clear, starlit and moonlit skies.  Breezes are light out of the N-NE at 4-6mph.  It's a lovely, briny, crisp morn down the shore.  Ms Sun's due up over the horizon in about half an hour from now.  It'll be a sunny start to the day with clouds filtering in.  By mid-day, it'll be a partly cloudy day and by later this afternoon... mostly cloudy.  Temps will be tapping 40° with breezes out of the E-NE then Easterly all at 9-12mph.  Tonight... clouds clear out a bit as it'll be partly cloudy with temps in the mid-upper 30s and Easterly breezes at 6-10mph.  Tomorrow... sunny with temps in that low-40 range.  The weekend's looking gray and damp with the possibility of showers.

Nice Winter's Day

Mornin'!  It's 32° in Wildwood NJ.  The winds have checked out!  Whew... what a sneak preview of March we just had!  No wind damage or power lost thankfully.  Only a few more days until the worst month of them all is upon us!  If you didn't know... March is my least favorite month of them all.  Reason being is that one of the biggest surprises I had when I moved to the shore was that March is 180° different than March in Philadelphia.  In Philly, March brings the beginning of warmer temps, birds chirping, bulbs, buds, and trees blooming with the fragrance of flowers and fresh grass in the air.  In Wildwood, March brings damp and raw wicked, biting, relentless, unforgiving winds.  The kind of winds that you literally scream at.  Plus, those March temperatures rarely give you that warm, spring-like feel.  Hey, but once March is gone, happiness abounds.  Especially this year as a Key West vacation is planned for the beginning of April for me and hubby.  This year March will not get me down.  No complaints here... life is good!
As for today's weather... expect a nice Winter's day as  Ms Sun's up and shining brightly as we just had a spectacular, colorful sunrise.  Minimal breezes to note (N-NW at 2-4mph).  It'll be a mostly sunny day with temps in the low-40s with winds out of the W-NW at 10-15mph.  Tonight... partly cloudy, temps in the mid-30s and breezes out of the N-NE at 6-8mph.  Tomorrow... just about the same with more clouds in the mix.

High Wind Warning Posted Today

Sunset Beach - Cape May NJ
Mornin'!  It's 41° in Wildwood NJ.  Windchill is 26° with W-NW winds at 25-35mph +gusting (as high as 50mph).  We're waking to quite a blustery morning as the winds are wailing through the streets kicking up quite a fuss.  So far so good... no damage to report.  It is trash day though as that could prove quite interesting.  There's an official "high wind" warning posted until tonight... which basically means these winds could very well cause damage to power lines, trees and tree limbs as it's all very vulnerable with the recent saturation of the ground this weekend.
It is a clear morning as Ms Sun's about to cross the horizon.  It'll be a blue-sky sunny day with extremely gusty winds (Westerly at 30-40mph +gusting).  Temps aren't getting any higher than what they're now with that windchill staying checked in (it'll feel like 30°).  Tonight... 35°, clear with W-NW winds overstaying their welcome at 25-35mph +gusting creating that wind chill.   Tomorrow... not as windy, more cloud cover in the mix and temps around where they are today.

Rainy Start - Dry Finish

Mornin'!  It's 44° in Wildwood NJ.  It's raining at a very good clip with very light breezes out of the NE at 1-3mph.  This current rain will continue throughout the morning. We may even hear some thunder along with it.  Winds will slowly commence along with the rain surrendering early this afternoon.  Blustery, gale force winds will begin out of the S-SW at 15-25mph later this late afternoon / early evening and by tonight be out of the West at 25-35mph with even higher gusts.  It'll remain mostly cloudy (perhaps with some fog and even a peek or two of Ms Sun) after the rains around mid-day today with temps in the mid-50s. Tonight... "high wind" and "gale" warnings posted as it'll be extremely windy, mostly clear with temps in the low 30s feeling the bite with those winds. Tomorrow... clear and very windy (W-NW 25-35mph +gusting up to 50mph) with temps in the low 40s.

Mornin'!  It's 38° in Wildwood NJ.  It's cloudy, dry and still with breezes out of the E-NE at 2-4mph.  The rains are coming today (later) but for now it's just damp outside with a decent morning on tap.  Ms Sun will be peeking throughout the morning but expect considerable cloudiness as occasional rain showers begin around 3-4 o'clock this afternoon.  Temps will be in the low 40s with E-NE winds at 10-15mph.  Chance of rain is 70%.  Tonight...100% chance of rain with temps in the upper 30s and Easterly winds at 10-20mph.  Rainfall near a half an inch.  Tomorrow... expect rain until early evening with temps in the upper 40s / low 50s as Ms Sun may start peeking through around dinner time.  Monday... it'll be sunny and very blustery (A Windchill is back)!  Good luck today Plungers... it'll be a chilly one for sure but no rain until after you change into dry clothes!  Oh... the "high" tide is when you all will be hitting the drink so expect a smaller than normal beach!

Cloudy Friday

Mornin'!  It's 43° in Wildwood NJ.  It's the high for today by the way.  We're currently under cloud cover with that delicious briny sea air greeting you as you step outside.  You can hear the roar of the ocean 6+ blocks away thanks to those thick clouds.  Not much in the line of breezes... N-NW at 1-3mph.  It'll be cloudy all day today with temps where they are now and breezes out of the N-NW at 5-10mph.  Tonight... cloudy with temps down in the upper 30s and NE breezes at 1-3mph.  Tomorrow... cloudy with rain due in by the early afternoon with the same temps as today's high... 43° and E-NE breezes at 6-9mph.  Furnance is fixed!

Fairly Decent Thursday - 27 Days Until Spring

Throwback Thursday - circa 1955
Mom and Dad and Me on Wildwood beach
Mornin'!  It's 37° in Wildwood NJ.  We're under thick cloud cover.  Very light breezes hardly noticeable are wifting (wafting) over the island from the N-NW at 4-6mph. Everything seems to be dry although it feels damp outside.  No snow.  No rain puddles.  All the uproar and "run for bread and milk" panic was for nothing.  We had a light wet mix of snow (only landing on grassy surfaces) which was followed by rain and totally washed everything away yesterday without any flooding.  Another big hype for "just in case".  Today we're mostly in the clear but Ms Sun's not making her grand entrance until this afternoon.  The clouds are kind of sticking around today making it a partly sunny / partly cloudy day.  The good news is that it'll be mild as we just might tap 50°!  Breezes will be out of the W-NW at 10-15.  Tonight... Partly cloudy with temps in the low-40s and W-NW breezes still checked in at 8-10mph.  One forecast did mention the possibility of fog today and tonight... just an fyi.  Oh, and the Saturday forecast with a high of 41° still has rain but now it's not supposed to begin around 1-2p.m. not
until after the Plunge at 11a.m. (not that the Plungers care as they're getting wet one way or another).

Winter Storm Petra Has Its Sights On Us

Mornin'!  It's 34° in Wildwood NJ.  It's 59° in my living room (the furnace guy is due in tomorrow for the repair).  I just fired up the ol' gas fireplace which is warming us nicely.  It's cloudy with a funky looking sky and very light breezes out of the E-NE at 2-4mph.  With all that insulation in the atmosphere above, the roar of the ocean is loud and clear not to mention there's plenty of dampness in the air.  Winter storm Petra is headed right for us and you can feel it.  Expect a wet one today with winter precipitation in the form of snow and/or a wintry mix or just rain.  It should start sometime this morning and end tomorrow morning.  Nothing's coming down yet, but the TV weather guy is saying it's snowing in Baltimore and Washington DC as I type.  We could see 1-3" today as the white stuff will probably wash away with the rains coming later this afternoon into this evening.  Today's temps... upper 30s with Eastery winds at 15-25mph.  Tonight... rain with temps still in the upper 30s and E-SE winds shifting from the W-SW all at 10-20mph.  Tomorrow... Ms Sun returns in the afternoon with a high of 51°!  We have another Plunge this weekend... North Wildwood's Fallen Hero Polar Plunge is Saturday at 11a.m. at 16th and the Beach.  And, it looks like it'll be raining lightly with temps in the low 40s... just an fyi.  As for today... the Full Moon was yesterday and so keep an ear out for flood sirens with this Storm heading our way.  We'll inevitably have higher than usual tides and with this rainfall coming from Petra and you might want to keep a careful ear and eye on any flood sirens or flood waters that could potentially fill the streets today.  Play it smart and put the vehicle on higher ground.

Full Moon

Mornin'!  It's 28° in Wildwood NJ.  It's sunny (Ms Sun rose over the horizon about a half hour ago).  Breezes are very light out of the N-NW at 3-6mph.  It's cold outside and not a great time to have your house furnace crap out.  We're told, "You need a part" which has been ordered.  But, it was chilly 59° in the house when I climbed out of bed this morning.  I guess it could have been much worse with it being in the 20s outside.  Thank goodness for our little gas fireplace that warms things nicely when called on.  It'll be a sunny, brisk day today with temps in the upper 30s and breezes out of the NW at 13-17mph (windchill of 30°).  Tonight... cloudy, low-30s, Northerly breezes at 2-5mph.  Tomorrow... Snow mixed with rain as we could see some accumulation depending on the temperature (1-3" is possible).  One way or another it'll be wet tomorrow beginning in the morning right into Thursday morning.  It is the Full Moon today and the tides are affected... much higher than normal tides and that goes for tomorrow too as tidal flooding is always in the mix on rainy-full moon days.

Presidents Day

Mornin'!  Happy Presidents Day!  It's raining with winds out of the W-NW at 8-10mph.  It's a perfect day off if you're so lucky to have today as a holiday.   Pulling the blanket up and rolling over for some extra sleep is nice on a morning like this.  It was always a holiday for me before retirement as I now have a holiday every day of the week... a true blessing.  I'll never stop appreciating it that's for sure.  So here's today's weather... I'm happy to report that it won't be a washout.  Once these morning rains pass on through, it'll be a partly cloudy / partly sunny day with temps in the upper 40s.  We'll probably see Ms Sun peek through by mid-day.  It will become blustery with W-NW winds ramping up at 20-30mph.  Tonight... partly cloudy with temps much colder (mid-30s) and winds out of the NW at 15-20mph making a windchill of 24°.  Tomorrow... mostly sunny with temps in the mid-30s.  Speaking of tomorrow... Full Moon so the tides will be affected and be much higher and lower than normal.   And, the marshes and wetlands have a high tide one hour later than the ocean's high tide.

50/50 Sunday

Mornin'!  It's 31° in Wildwood NJ.  It's bright and sunny with light breezes out of the North at 2-5mph.  It's crisp and wintry but somehow feels really nice.  I think that Ms Sun is definitely the reason and she intends to stick around and shine until at least mid-day.  It'll be a sunny morning and a mostly cloudy afternoon.  Temps will be in the upper 30s with breezes out of the E-NE at 8-10mph.  By tonight... clouds begin to release the rain as it'll be a 98% chance of a wet evening with rain showers.  Temps remain in the upper 30s with E-SE breezes at 6-8mph.  We start the week with a rainy Monday morning.  And, thankfully no snowy or icy mix as the temps will be in the low 40s tomorrow.

President's Weekend

Mornin'!  It's 41° in Wildwood NJ.  It's gray and cloudy with light breezes out of the N-NW at 5-7mph.  It'll be a mostly cloudy (peeks of sun) first half of the day with temps staying just about where they are now... low 40s and breezes ramping up a bit coming from the same direction they are now... N-NW at 8-10mph.  This afternoon into this evening as the temps drop the skies will clear out of any leftover clouds and become starlit and moonlit.  Temps will drop somewhat in the mid-30s with Northerly breezes at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow... basically more clouds than sun with temps in the mid-upper 30s. When driving back onto the island last evening, the traffic around me gave me pause as I wondered what the heck is going on.  Then I realized that this weekend is considered a holiday weekend (President's Weekend / Valentine's Weekend).  A little bit of a visitor invasion the first time this year as the out-of-towners (mostly Philadelphia and New York license plates) are stopping by for the long holiday weekend.  It's historically the time of year for anyone considering a vacation here this summer to connect with our local realtors and rental agents and reserve their favorite summer vacation rentals.  It's once again time to share the island...  Enjoy!  Oh... and those Sea Isle City plungers... have fun and play it safe as you run into that 38° ocean today! http://www.landisco.com/seaislecitycams.php#camview

Gray Day - TGIF

Mornin'!  It's 43° in Wildwood NJ.  It's gray with heavy cloud cover.  It's breezy with winds out of the S-SW at 15-20mph making it feel like 36°.  It'll be mostly gray and overcast today with small chances of Ms Sun occasionally peeking through.  That chance diminishes by later this afternoon though.   Winds will be out of the S-SW at 18-20mph as temps tap 50° (it'll feel more like 45°).  Tonight... cloudy with temps in the mid-40s and W-SW winds at 7-11mph.  Tomorrow... the Sea Isle Plunge (21 miles and 3 coastal towns north of us) and it looks like it'll be around 39° (windchill of 33°) still with the possibility of snow showers/flurries at plunge time.  As for Sunday... the start of the day will have a mix of clouds and sun with showers heading our way by early evening.  Oh... I nearly forgot to mention that Sam's Pizza opens today!

Blustery Hump Day

Mornin'!  It's 39° in Wildwood NJ.  Ms Sun's back!  She just rose through some leftover clouds on the horizon making for a lovely sunrise this morning.  Breezes are out of the N-NW at 8-10mph.  It'll be a blustery winter's day with plenty of sunshine (some clouds in the mix).  Temps will be in the mid-40s but the wind chill will make it feel like the mid-30s.  Winds will ramp up later this morning out of the West at 15-25mph.  Tonight... mostly clear, temps in the mid-30s and winds out of the W-NW at 10-15mph.  Tomorrow looks sunny and not as blustery with temps in the upper 30s / low 40s.  As for this coming weekend... cloudy and cold.  We could see snow showers on Saturday and rain later on Sunday.

Raw and Nasty Today

Mornin'! It's 38° in Wildwood NJ.  It's raining at a good clip.  It's windy with winds off the ocean (easterly) at 25-35mph +gusting.  It's a miserable as you can get.  It'll be like this all day into tonight too.  Expect rain and winds (E-NE) at 20-30mph +gusting today with temps in the mid-40s.  Tonight... more rain with temps where they are now (38°) and SW winds at 15-25mph.  One good thing about today is a fresh pot of homemade soup.  On this rainy Tuesday menu... plain ol' (delicious) chicken noodle soup.  Another good thing about today... today's weather system over us is only rain (Philly's getting a wintry/icy mix by the way), unlike the snowstorm that crippled us this week 9 years ago.  We were buried in snow and ice and without power for 6 days.  I'll take this raw and nasty day anyday!

Wet Monday

Mornin'!  It's 33° in Wildwood NJ.  We had a mix of snow and freezing rain overnight and it seems to be raining and snowing at the same time at the moment.  There's a thin layer of slushy snow on areas outside but for the most part, it seems we came out pretty much unscathed.  The streets and sidewalks appear to be just wet and not icy.  No breezes to note but we're still in the midst of snow/freezing rain showers.  It appears this is our weather for today as all forecasts are pointing to a cold, wet day.  Expect a 90% chance of rain/snow mix (just rain by this afternoon) with temps in the mid-30s and winds out of the NE at 10-15mph.  Tonight... rain with temps in the mid-30s and a windchill as there will be blustery winds out of the E-NE at 20-30mph.  Tomorrow... rain with temps in the mid-40s and those blustery winds out of the East at 20-30mph.

Sunny Sunday Morning / Cloudy Sunday Afternoon

Mornin'!  It's 23° in Wildwood NJ.  We've got clear skies with Ms Sun up and at'em and no breezes to note.  No windchill either.  It's a bit frosty outside as everything's got a thin layer of frost from the overnight freezing temps.  It'll be sunny the first half of the day as temps get up into the mid-upper 30s with W-SW breezes at 4-6mph.  By later this afternoon... thick cloud cover takes over the skies preparing things for tonight's overnight wet, freezing mix of rain and sleet.  Tonight... upper 20s / low 30s with 90% chance of freezing rain and S-SW winds at 8-10mph.  There's a pretty good chance we'll wake to freezing rain in the morning and who knows if we'll have to deal with an ice-covered island or not.  Temps will get into the upper 30s tomorrow as any icy sleet will turn to rain eventually.  Could be very tricky late tonight and tomorrow morning... just be careful out there!

Mornin'!  It's 28° in Wildwood NJ.  That's winter chill is back! It's still blustery with winds out of the W-NW at 15-20mph +gusting and feels like 17°.  It's mostly clear as Ms Sun just rose and is shining through some leftover milky clouds.  It'll be a mostly sunny day with temps in the low 30s with a windchill of low 20s as these winds aren't checking out until tonight.  Expect NW winds today at 15-25 +gusting.  Tonight... clear with temps in the upper 20s (low 20s windchill) and N-NW breezes at 7-10mph.  Tomorrow... partly sunny / partly cloudy with cold temps and less windy.  Expect precipitation late tomorrow night in the form of icy freezing rain. Monday... rain and wind as temps climb into the mid-upper 40s.  I doubt if we'll see the white stuff if the temps stay in the 40s.  I'm keeping a close watch.

TGIF - A Blustery One

Mornin'!  It's 43° in Wildwood NJ.  We're under partially cloudy skies with breezes out of the S-SW at 5-7mph.  It seems that most of the cloud cover has accumulated along the horizon which will probably make for a lovely sunrise or we may miss it completely.  It'll be a partly cloudy day with gusty winds beginning a bit later this morning... W-NW at 20-25mph.  High wind gusts are possible too.  Temps may tap the 50s so we'll most likely have a nice windchill (mid-40s).  Tonight... mostly cloudy becoming partly cloudy after midnight. Temps will drop and be much colder in the mid-20s with those nasty NW winds at 20-30mph.  The weekend's looking eh... with partly cloudy skies and a high of 33° and still blustery as Sunday's looking about the same but with fewer winds.  I might as well mention Monday... rain, snow showers not to mention freezing surfaces.

Gray Day On Tap

Mornin'!  It's 44° in Wildwood NJ.  We're in the soup again as it's foggy with very light breezes out of the North at 2-3mph.  Everything's wet and drippy outside this morning.  Expect patchy drizzles and the possibility of light showers as it'll be mostly cloudy, misty and damp today with temps in the mid-40s and North winds at 5-10mph.  This afternoon the breezes will shift from the East as there's a 40% chance of rain.  Tonight... mostly cloudy with temps where they are now and East winds at 9-15mph becoming SW after midnight.  Tomorrow... looks like a wet start as Ms Sun tries to check back in.  The weekend's looking sunny and colder with temps in the 30s.

50-50 Humpday

Mornin'!  It's 42° in Wildwood NJ.  It's amazing outside as Winter continues to release its grasp of us.  Yesterday we hit a high of 64° with warm sunshine!  That's no typo.  It was just an incredible shift of weather as Spring snuck in for a day and was so welcomed after last week's Polar Vortex.  It looks like we won't see the 60° temps repeat today but the mid-40s isn't too shabby in the middle of winter.  Today will have a sunny start with clouds filtering in by mid-day making it a partly cloudy until late afternoon when it'll be mostly cloudy.  Then, by dinner time, we'll begin to see moisture with rain showers (100% chance).  Temps will be around where they are now... the mid-40s with breezes throughout the day and evening at 9-12mph beginning in the morning out of the E-NE then ending with E-SE in the evening.  Tomorrow looks like it'll start out with those leftover/overnight rain showers as it turns into a mostly cloudy day.  Temps will hold their course in the mid-40s!  As for this upcoming weekend... mostly sunny with temps in the 30s with those stupid windchills expected back in the forecast as windy conditions are on tap.

Taste of Spring

Mornin'!  It's 35° in Wildwood NJ.  We're under starlit skies with some very light hazy fog lying over the island.  No breezes to note.  That light fog is allowing the sounds of the ocean's waves crashing the shore immediately identifiable when stepping outside, and that's 6+ blocks away.  The morning fog/haze will dissipate as we're going to have a sneak peek of Spring today with partly sunny / partly cloudy skies and temps in the upper 40s and even tapping 50°!  Breezes will be Westerly at 5-10mph.  Tonight... partly cloudy with temps in the upper 30s / low 40s and breezes out of the N-NW at 4-8mph.  Tomorrow... more of the same but a tad cooler.

New Moon Monday

Mornin'!  It's 32° in Wildwood NJ.  It's intense fog out there with no breezes to note.  We're still in some "snow-covered" mode although most has melted in the last couple days.   It'll be mild today as temperatures go... high of 45° with hardly any breezes (E-NE at 3-6mph) and mostly cloudy with fog and peeks of sun.  Expect the rest of the meltdown.  Tonight... mostly cloudy, fog late tonight with temps in the upper 30s and breezes light and variable.  Tomorrow... sunny and high near 52°.  It's the New Moon today and you know what that means... higher than normal tides.

Pleasant Super Bowl Sunday

Mornin'!  It's 25° in Wildwood NJ.  We're under clear, starlit skies with no breezes to note.  There's still plenty of snow encasing the island.  We did have a nice meltdown yesterday though with the help of  Ms Sun's rays and higher than normal temperatures steeping the white stuff away.  I'm sure it'll repeat today with temps in the mid-40s.  Expect a not-as-sunny day as yesterday beginning with foggy conditions.  We'll have more clouds in the mix than yesterday and breezes light and variable out of the SW as there will be no wind chill today.  Tonight... partly cloudy with the possibility of more fog, temps in the upper 30s and SE breezes at 2-4mph.  Tomorrow... just as mild with temps in the mid-40s and mostly sunny conditions.  Let the meltdown continue!  Oh... tomorrow's the New Moon (no moon in sight) but the effects are the same as a Full Moon... be aware of the higher than normal tides.  And, the back of the island... the marshes (wetlands) are always an hour later than the ocean's high tide.  Just an FYI.  Go Rams (should have been the Saints)!

No Shadow for Phil - Early Spring!

Mornin'!  It's 15° in Wildwood NJ.  It's clear and starlit with a very light breeze making a 10° windchill.  The island's wrapped in a blanket of white.  We received about 3" of the white stuff yesterday into last evening.  It was a dry, light snowfall and easy to shovel and sweep.  Tough hanging outside though as it was bitter cold last evening when hubby and I went outside to get our snow removal workouts.  It'll feel balmy today as Ms Sun begins to rise and shine with temps in the mid-upper 30s.  There's a mix of those milky clouds in today's sky with winds out of the West at 10-15mph.  Hopefully we'll still have some meltdown.  Tonight... mostly clear, temps in the low-mid 30s and breezes out of the W-SW at 10-15mph.  Tomorrow... more clouds and sun (even more cloud cover than today) with temps even warmer (low-mid 40s)!  I expect some kind of a meltdown this weekend. Punxsutawney Phil (the weird groundhog phenomena) did not see his shadow this morning which means "early Spring" (that remains to be seen) as it's really... 46 days away!

We've Got Snowfall!

Mornin'!  It's 19° in Wildwood NJ.  Welcome, February!  We've got a wind chill of 9° with heavy cloud cover.  In fact, this cloud cover is bringing some snowfall that's just beginning this morning.  Winds are out of the N-NE at 5-10mph.  There's an 80% chance of snow today with a 1-3" of accumulation.  Tonight... partly cloudy, low 20s and winds light and variable; meaning there's not much in the line of a wind chill.  We've got the shovels ready and hopefully, any accumulation we do get is just a light dusting and can be easily swept away.  The weekend's looking ok with sunny skies and warmer temps...30s and 40s.  I'll always be suspicious of February though and now that it's here, there's no convincing me that it's not sneering with its intimidating winter weather.  I mean it's the 1st day and it's snowing (and now, at a good clip).  In the short time it took to type these 10+ lines, everything's covered in white.  I can't help but remember nine years ago next week, we were taken down with a snowstorm that will never stop resonating in my memory.  We were buried and frozen without power for 6 days with that bad boy.  Yet, last year other than one major snowfall, we hardly had a dusting the rest of the Winter.  So, with all that said, one can only hope for another February of clemency.  Welcome February but don't overstay your welcome!
