Harper's Heading East

Mornin'!  It's 36° in Wildwood NJ.  We're under cloud cover as Ms Sun's rising while I blog.  If she succeeds, we're going to see some spectacular morning colors in those clouds.  We're to expect cloud cover this morning leading to rain showers this afternoon.  Winds are currently light out of the E-NE at 3-5mph.  The pooches are in town as the Boardwalk Kennel Club dog show is this weekend!  Today's forecast is 40% chance of rain showers this afternoon with temps in the low 40s and Easterly winds at 10-20mph. Tonight... cloudy with 90% chance of rain, temps in the upper 30s / low 40s with S-SE winds at 15-25mph.  Tomorrow... temps in the upper 40s / low 50s with rain and wind (25-35mph) as this storm Harper heads Northeast throwing the entire eastern seaboard moisture in some form. It appears that parts of the interior Northeast including the Pocono Mountains and areas west and north of us will be getting the brunt of this storm and heavy snowfall.  Some places (not us thankfully) will get an ice storm.  We're in the path of wind-driven rains tonight and most of the day tomorrow but those higher than usual temps won't allow any snowfall along the coast this time.  The Full Moon begins late tomorrow into Monday as storm and tidal flooding will be our concern.  Keep an eye on those high tides!
