Partly Sunny Sunday

Mornin'!  It's 72° in Wildwood NJ.  Humidity's 95% with a dew point of 71°.  Breezes are out of the N-NE at 10-18mph.  We're cloud covered with Ms Sun doing all she can to shine through the hazy sky.  At the moment, there's a 60% chance of rain showers and/or thunderstorms this morning.  The ominous look to the day may brighten by the early afternoon as this thick cloud cover will eventually give way to partly sunny skies.  Temps will get up to the low-mid 80s.  E-NE winds will continue to waft (wift) over the island at 10-15mph.  Tonight... partly cloudy skies, 15% chance of a stray shower,  temps down into the low-70s with SE breezes at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow... mostly sunny during the morning with scattered showers a possibility (50% chance) developing in the afternoon.  Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday all have varying degrees of rain in their forecasts.  And, of course there's the new hurricane out there... "Ida" that is making landfall in southern Louisiana today. This is the same day (8/29) that hurricane Katrina hit the coast of Louisianna in 2005.  Life-threatening storm surge, potentially catastrophic wind damage and flooding rainfall is all expected to impact the Gulf Coast region beginning today into tomorrow.  Very scary stuff on this Katrina anniversary.  Hopefully all our prayers are heard for those being impacted by this scary Storm.
