12/12/21

Christmas in July - North Wildwood
Mornin'!  It's 44° in Wildwood NJ.  Breezes are still very stiff out of the NW at 15-25mph +gusting.  We're under some leftover cloud cover from yesterday's and last night's stormy system racing over the island.  We received a couple strong, steady downpours along with that wind last night.  Things have calmed down but the Windchill is currently 36° as the winds are bringing a bit of a snappy, cold chill.  By the time Ms Sun rises, these clouds should have begun their exodus and even perhaps help to embellish that sunrise this morning.  Expect a blue-sky, sunny (by mid-morning) and blustery Sunday this 12/12.  Winds will be out of the W-NW at 15-25mph +gusting.  Tonight... clear to partly clear with a low of 39° and W-SW winds at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow... warmer temps coming back as it'll be a partly cloudy day with a high of 53° and W-SW winds at 10-15mph.  Looks like the same for Tuesday.  Just a reminder that there's a Geminid meteor shower due this week (Dec 13th/14th).  If you're up around 3am leading into that pre-dawn sky and the sky is clear, you have an excellent chance of seeing meteors falling through the dark sky.  Meteorologists say... possibly 150 falling stars an hour! Winter's 9 days away!
