Gray and Wet Sunday

Mornin'!  It's 40° in Wildwood NJ.  It feels like 36° with the dampness and wind (E-NE at 10-15mph).  We've got a gray sky covering the island except right along the beach where Ms Sun just crossed the cloud covered horizon.  She's doing all she can to brighten things up but there's too much cloud cover for her to succeed.  In fact, those dark clouds are turning red and we all know what that means... "Red sky in the morning...".  Expect rain showers by late morning / early afternoon (90% chance) with steady rain later in the afternoon.  Temps will be in the mid-50s with East winds at 10-15mph.  Tonight... rain (80% chance) but ending around midnight as temps drop to the mid-40s with W-SW winds at 10-20mph.  Tomorrow... back to sunny skies but blustery with winds out of the W-NW at 15-25mph.  Temps will be around 50° but will feel more like 40°.  It's the full moon tomorrow and the tides are already much higher than usual.  In fact, there's a "Coastal Flood" advisory posted. Be aware of any tidal flooding today as today's rainfall won't help matters.  Know your tide times and low-lying areas.  And, make it a point to "not" drive through that salty, corrosive water as it damages the under carriage of your vehicle.  Remember the back of the island gets the high tide an hour later than the ocean side.
High Tides: 6:58AM and 7:24PM
Low Tide: 1:19PM
Ocean Temp: 55°
Sunrise: 6:54AM
Sunset: 4:38PM
Moonrise: 3:59PM
