Mornin'! It's 30° in Wildwood NJ. It feels like 18° with the W-NW winds at 20-25mph +gusting. It's early and still dark, starlit and clear. Winter's here and has no intention of checking out any time soon. Today will be partly cloudy with strong winds (W-NW at 25-35mph +gusting). Temps will be in the low 30s feeling like the lower 20s / upper teens. Tonight... partly cloudy, temps will be in the mid-20s with W-NW at 20-30mph but those gusting winds will eventually diminish overnight. Tomorrow... mostly sunny with some cloud cover from time to time, temps in the mid-30s with W-NW winds at 20-30mp. Tomorrow night... cloudy with snow developing after midnight, temps will be in the upper 20s with NW winds at 10-15mph. There's a "Winter Storm Watch" in effect from Sunday night through late Monday night. Expect snowfall (heavy snowfall is possible) throughout the overnight into Monday. Snow will spread over our region late Sunday night and intensify through midday Monday. It should taper off Monday night. We could see 3-5" of the white stuff Monday (some forecasts have posted 5-9" possible) with temps in the low-30s and NE winds at 10-15mph. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday appear to be sunny days with temps in the 30s. You still have time to get the shovel and ice-melt ready, also the boots, hat, scarf, gloves and don't forget to fill the gas tank in your vehicle and make sure your windshield washer fluid is filled and the scraper is at hand (I also have a small shovel in the car). It's also time to get those homemade soup fixins' gathered if you haven't already. My beans have been soaking as well as the Christmas ham bone has been thawing overnight! Stay safe out there.
