Mornin'! Happy Veterans Day. Today is a federal holiday dedicated to honoring all who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, in times of war or peace. It is a day to show appreciation for their patriotism, courage, and sacrifice with a particular focus on thanking living veterans. Thank You for your service to my dear husband and to all of the Vets out there reading this.
It's 36° in Wildwood NJ. Windchill: 25°. It's still dark but the white cumulus clouds are in the inky sky. Winds-are-a-howling out of the W-NW at 25-30mph +gusting. I'm grateful for a working furnace, cozy robe, slippers and a mug of hot coffee this morning. It's going to be a cold and blustery autumn day with temps in the mid-40s (feeling like the low-30s) with West winds at 25-35mph gusting over 50mph. Tonight... clear and windy becoming cloudy overnight. Temps will be around 40° (feeling like the low-30s) with W-SW winds at 20-30mph +gusting. Tomorrow... sunny with some afternoon clouds, temps more seasonable in the upper 50s and W-SW winds at 15-25mph +gusting. Tomorrow night... partly cloudy, temps in the mid-40s with West winds at 15-25mph.
