It's Fat Tuesday

Mornin'!  Happy Mardi Gras! Time to make the donuts!  It's 41° in Wildwood NJ.  It feels like 30° due to the windchill.  Winds are howling and are currently out of the NE at 25-35mph +gusting.  It's raining hard as well as sideways.  Storm Lorraine's checked in and by the looks of things, we won't be getting what Allentown or the Pocono's are currently getting... the ol' white stuff.  The Pocono Mountains are due to get 9"!  We still have a "Coastal Flood Advisory" posted due to those wind-driven rains pushing the waters surrounding us onto our beaches and streets. The Advisory is until 3AM tomorrow morning.  Be aware of those high-tide times and know your low-lying areas.  Expect periods of rain this morning with a wintry mix thrown in later this morning and/or early afternoon.  We'll more than likely not going to see any snow cover or accumulation.  By mid-day, it'll begin to clear and dry out as the clouds will give way for Ms Sun to shine through.  The winds aren't going anywhere.  Expect temps in the  low-mid 40s (feeling like the low-30s) with the windchill... N-NW at 25-35mph +gusting as high as 50mph.  Tonight... clear, gusty winds, temps in the low-30s and W-NW winds at 20-30mph +gusting.  Tomorrow... mostly sunny and still blustery with NW winds at 20-30mph +gusting and temps around 40°.  Tomorrow night... clear and cold (36° feeling like 26°).  Forget making those donuts today as I already made a King Cake over the weekend. Plus this weather warrants yet another "Soup Making Day" and today's soup choice is "Escarole (aka Italian Wedding) Soup".
High Tide: 10:01AM and 10:32PM
Low Tide: 4:15PM
Ocean Temp: 42°
Sunrise: 6:52AM
Sunset: 5:34PM
