A Winter Beauty Today

Mornin'!  It's 42° in Wildwood NJ.  It feels like 35° with the W-SW winds at 10-15mph.  It's clear.  Along the horizon, there's a row of clouds that will obviously keep Ms Sun from rising on time.  But, she's definitely going to rise and shine this morning!  It'll be a lovely winters' day with plentiful sunshine, temps in the upper 40s and West winds at 10-20mph.  Tonight... mostly clear, temps in the low-30s and winds light and variable.  Tomorrow... a mix of sun and clouds, temps in the low-40s and W-NW winds at 10-15mph.  Tomorrow night... a few clouds from time to time, temps in the mid-teens and N-NW winds at 15-25mph.  Saturday... a mix of sun and clouds, becoming cloudy later in the day, temps in the low-20s and North winds at 10-20mph.  Saturday night... the fun begins. This is what was on the weather report when I opened the latest report on winter storm "Fern":
WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON.  HEAVY SNOW AND SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS LIKELY.  PRECIPITATION MAY MIX WITH SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN SUNDAY IN SOUTHERN DELAWARE, NORTHEAST MARYLAND AND SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY SATURDAY THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON.  HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS.
Saturday night... this winter storm begins with snow, temps in the upper teens, NE winds at 5-10mph increasing to 15-25mph. Snow accumulations at 3-5 inches.  Sunday... potential winter storm, cloudy, snow fall, and very windy (E-NE at 25-35mph +gusting), temps in the mid-upper 30s, 3-5 inches expected.  Sunday night... snow with a wintry mix, temps in the upper 20s and North winds at 10-20mph.  Monday... light snow and very windy, temps in the low-30s and NW winds at 25-35mph +gusting.  Monday night... partly cloudy with gusty winds (W-NW at 25-35mph), temps around 16°.  I'll keep you updated every morning on how Fern is expected to behave.  Continue to prepare for the worst.
