Storm "Juno"

Mornin'!  It's 27° in Wildwood.  Do you know why this so-called blizzard is called "Juno"?  Juno where the snow went? Well, I'm happy to say that this historic blizzard went down the tubes.  Talk about "cry wolf"...an extremely perfect example.  I'm happy for all the New Jersey and surrounding State workers who have off from work today! Every forecaster on the TV this morning is abba-dabbing about what could have been.  Forget about anything I wrote about yesterday.  We missed the bullet and for that, I'm very, very grateful.  Once again our little southern, barrier island's weather was different from the rest.  It's freezing cold, windy and cloudy outside in the early morning darkness.  We have a coating of snow.  It's still coming down  and blowing everywhere out there.  Drifting should be about a ½ inch or so due to the winds. The snow will stop this morning as the clouds hang out until a peek or two of Ms Sun later this afternoon.  Winds will remain intense out of the NW at 20-30mph with temps just about 30°. Tonight...clear and back into the low 20s.  Winds will have simmered down by then as well.  Tomorrow...boatloads of sun!
High tide:1:41p.m.
Low tide:7:27a.m.
Ocean temp:39°
Sunset:5:15p.m.

The media sure hyped this snow storm up. So tired of hearing them. I think this was the worst prediction I can remember!!!

They still will not shut up about it. Enough already!
