The Last Of The Decent Days For Awhile

Mornin'!  It's 54° in Wildwood NJ.  We're under cloud cover with hardly a breeze (E-NE 2-4mph).  It'll be a mostly cloudy day with peeks of sun this afternoon and temps still somewhat mild in the upper 50s.  North winds will wift (waft) over the island at 5-12mph later.  Tonight... cloudy with a 30% chance of a shower (beginning during the overnight) as it'll much cooler...low-mid 40s.  Those North winds will stay checked in at 10-15mph.  Looks like we'll have off and on showers tomorrow (90% chance) with Easterly blustery winds at 20-25mph.  Saturday and Sunday still look mostly sunny but colder.  Saturday's a much more blustery day and Sunday's high will only be around 43°. Both are good soup-making days! Yesterday was a New Moon which I forgot to mention and we all know it treats the island much like a Full Moon bringing higher than normal tides and why there's been so much water seeping into the streets via sewer grates as of late.  Make the effort not to drive through those salty, corrosive waters.  I hope today is somewhat  like yesterday as it was a beauty (furnace off and windows open).  I spent much of it outdoors in the fresh sea air...biking the boards, walking the dog, pulling out and cutting down annuals, perennials and veggie plants, also digging out and pulling some nice sized horseradish roots and making a couple jars of fresh horseradish which included clearing out my sinuses!
