Flag Day!

Mornin'!  It's 61° in Wildwood NJ.  Happy Flag Day!  No air conditioners humming outside this morning!  Seems like the last few days, everyone checking in (every house in my immediate surrounding area was dark and uninhabited on Thursday and is now full of folk) to their shore homes or vacation rentals turned their air conditioners on once they arrived.  No one opened their windows for that lovely sea air.  Hubby and I don't get it as it truly hasn't been warm enough to warrant closing up the house,  turning the AC on and shutting out the Wildwood world yet .  The sea breeze has been too fantastic and intoxicating.  Who would want to close the windows on that breeze?
Anyway, it's cool (a bit chilly in fact) in the house as a NE breeze at 15-20mph is wifting (wafting) in my windows at the moment and is feeling really nice.  Ms Sun's up and everything's getting a good dose of sunshine as well!  Other than the seagulls making their presence known, it's quiet... no air conditioners on anywhere!  I think everyone got the memo!
It'll be a windy beauty today as Spring winds down.  The Flags will be flying with E-NE breezes at 15-25mph with plentiful sunshine.  Tonight... mainly clear, low of 61° and winds out of the E-NE at 10-20mph.  Tomorrow... even windier (NE 20-30mph) as clouds begin to cover the island.
