Partly Sunny Monday This Last of July

This Morning's Webcam Shot - North WW

Mornin'!  It's 71° in Wildwood NJ.  Humidity's 73% with a dewpoint of 65°.  Ms Sun has risen over the horizon along the ocean but it's obscured by this morning's cloud cover.  Winds are out of the NW at 4-6mph.  Expect a mix of sun and clouds today with 25% chance of a rain shower.  Temps will get up to around 80° with SW winds at 10-15mph.  Tonight... mostly clear, moonlit skies as temps drop in the mid-60s and W-NW winds at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow... mostly sunny, 15% chance of a passing shower, temps in the upper 70s and NE winds at 5-10mph.  The Full Moon is tomorrow so the High Tides will be higher than normal.  In fact, there is a "Coastal Flood Advisory" thanks to that Full Sturgeon Moon (the first of two full moons in August) in effect from 6pm this evening until midnight.  Our shorelines, tidal waterways and surrounding areas are prone to flooding and you may see  detours, partial or full road closures. I'd keep my eye on the sky again today just in case you're in the line of those passing showers.  Oh, and I have to bid July adieu since it's her last day... it was a hot month as we had our air conditioner on the entire month (it's still off since yesterday morning by the way), but we made it through with only that major power outage in the intense heat the first week of the month and of course a couple minor street flooding moments. Other than that...  you've treated us well July.  Until next year... see ya on the other side!
