Lovely Day - Not So Much Tonight

My Christmas Tree
Mornin'! It's 33° in Wildwood NJ.  It's clear and starlit with barely a breeze (E-NE at 2-4mph).  For some reason when we're under thick cloud cover, I can hear the sounds of the waves crashing the shore loud and clear but this morning without a cloud in the sky... I'm getting the sounds of waves crashing, roaring and blaring when stepping outside into the early morning silence. It almost sounds like a highway full of rushing traffic just a couple blocks away. The ocean's at least 8+ blocks away (that's including the extra wide beach we have here).  Ms Sun's due up in just over a half an hour.  We'll have sunny skies this morning leading into this afternoon when clouds begin to filter in as the temps rise into the low-50s.  Winds will be out of the E-SE at 10-15mph.  Tonight... 90% chance of rain early becoming windy with periods of rain throughout the night.  By the way, tomorrow is the New Moon which will create higher than normal tides which could affect tonight's tides and bring possible coastal flooding to our low-lying areas.  Be aware of where you're driving or parking your vehicle on the island. Temps will drop into the mid-upper 40s.  Those S-SE winds will be providing the show as we're back to very gusty conditions with 25-35mph +gusting up to 40mph.  Tomorrow... tumultuous with W-SW winds being the show-stopper at 25-35mph +gusting over 50mph, 80% chance of rain early and clearing by the afternoon. As winds push through, temps will be in the mid-50s becoming around 40° by later in the afternoon and the 30s by evening. Tomorrow night... clear, windy and cold. Temps will be in the upper 20s with W-NW winds at 25-35mph +gusting.  Saturday.... mostly sunny, temps in the upper 30s and W-NW winds at 10-15mph.  Sunday... partly sunny, temps in the upper 40s and West winds at 15-25mph +gusting.  It's a good time to secure those outdoor decorations!
