Happy Hanukkah!

Wildwood Crest - Sunset Lake
Mornin'!  Happy Hanukkah! It's 36° in Wildwood NJ.  A mixture of rain and snow has just started coming down.  Winds are out of the N-NW at 10-20mph.  It's wet and glistening outside in the darkness (daybreak's about a ½ hr away) but not white yet although I was supposed to be waking to a blanket of snow this morning.  The weather folk were saying that 1-3" were to be expected along the coast most of which should have started late last night.  I'm not so sure now about this Clipper unless this mix of freezing stuff turns to big, heavy snow and begins coming down more intensely than it is.
FootNote: This wintry mix (whatever you want to call it), will give way to cloudy skies with some clearing by this afternoon.  My daughter lives in a suburb of Philly and received 6" of snow.  And, my son lives in Philly and got 3" of the white stuff.  Not much to report from the Wildwoods.  Mostly a slushy, heavy, ½+inches of the wintry mix.  Some of the trees, bushes and sidewalks have a nice ½-1" coating.  I'm seeing lots of ice-cycles hanging all around outside.  It's cold today.  As raw as you can get.
Temps will be in the low-mid 30s with very windy conditions (NW winds at 25-35mph +gusting) engulfing us beginning late this afternoon into the evening making it feel like the teens.  Late tonight into the overnight... partly cloudy and still extremely windy with temps around 20° and NW winds at 25-35mph +gusting making it feel like it's in the single digits (5°).  Tomorrow... thankfully sunny, along with a few clouds, temps in the low-30s and W-NW winds at 15-25mph +gusting.  Tomorrow night... partly cloudy, temps in the upper 20s and W-SW winds at 10-15mph. One week until the first day of Winter.
