Mornin'! It's 53° in Wildwood NJ. And, boy is it wild this morning. It's raining with winds out of the S-SE at 25-35mph +gusting big time. Those winds are relentless, thunderous and roaring. Rain is heavy at the moment as it's coming down sideways. If there was any morning to roll over (with a pillow over your head), it's today. Expect these conditions to continue as we'll have very windy conditions (W-SW at 25-35mph + gusting over 50mph), and rain throughout the rest of the morning (100% chance). This morning's high of 53° will fall to near 40° this afternoon as some breaks in the clouds could be happening just after mid-day. By early evening, chance of rain is only 20% but the winds aren't going anywhere until the overnight. Tonight... partly cloudy, wind diminishing overnight, temps dropping to the upper 20s with W-NW winds at 10-20mph. Tomorrow... sunny along with a few clouds, temps just tapping 40° with West winds at 10-15mph. Tomorrow night... mostly clear, temps in the upper 30s and S-SW winds at 10-20mph. Sunday... a mix of sun and clouds, temps in the upper 40s and West winds at 10-20mph. Sunday night... clear, temps in the upper 20s with N-NW winds at 10-20mph. It's the New Moon today and there's already some street flooding happening this morning. Know your low-lying areas. Be aware of high tide times and extra high coastal flooding due to the moon's pull and rainfall. And, remember... the back bay / marsh side of the island has their high tides an hour later than the ocean's side. Don't drive through flood waters.
