Beginning of the End

Mornin'!  It's 38° in Wildwood.  I had a nice weekend as the weather cooperated. While spending Saturday in Philly helping our son move, the weather was chilly but perfect "moving" weather with sun shining down. The ride back down the Shore on Saturday afternoon was a cloudy one and once back on the island...windy with a wintry bite in the air. Yesterday, once again nippy, but Ms Sun was shining down all day here. Had a productive weekend for sure. Had some Macks Pizza on their opening day Friday, got the car tuned up with new wiper blades (it'll be just in time for this week's rain events), got a loaf of Stock's pound cake (while in Philly) to store in my freezer for Easter, had all my living room lamps tuned up with new switches, made time to meet up with friends and enjoyed some fun time down the Shore.Lots of good reflection for this past weekend.
For today...it's still dark as daybreak is in about an hour.  It's cloud covered and dry but rain is due up next.  It's windy (SW 10-20mph) and will get even windier today as rain showers kick off the week.  Temps may just about tap the 50° mark by this afternoon and we may even see peeks of sunshine.  Tonight...clear and still windy (NW 15-17mph) as the rain clouds blow out to sea.  Tomorrow, the day the Lion takes a bow...looks like more wind and rain showers. This ending March/beginning of April with certainly be a mixed bag.
