Beginning to Quiet On The Eastern Front

Mornin'!  It's 56° in Wildwood NJ.  We made it through the worst of it I think with rain still coming down (lightly now) and winds out of the W-NW at 20-25mph.  It's more misty and foggy at the moment.  We still have minor flooding on the island including my backyard.  We're not able to get to our Shed without wearing "wellies" and it looks like the water may have gotten in there.  The plan is to check it out in a little while.  Thankfully, anything important in the Shed is up and off the floor.  We did receive over 3" of rain since yesterday afternoon.  And, we were already nicely watered from last weekend's rains.  There's still a "Flood Watch" and "Coastal Flood Advisory" in effect until later this evening.  We're going to have more rain today (on and off) but nothing like the overnight and early morning.  It'll be gray and damp and misty, temps in the upper 50s and very windy with West winds at 25-35mph +gusting.  We could see peeks of sun by sunset.  Tonight... partly clear/partly cloudy, temps dropping significantly into the low-mid 30s and West winds at 15-25mph+gusting.  Partly sunny, very windy (W-NW at 20-30mph+gusting), temps in the low-40s for tomorrow. Tomorrow night... clear, temps in the low-mid 30s and much less windy.
