Welcome Winter

Wish I Could Take Credit For This Shot
Mornin'!  Happy Winter Solstice!  It's the official first day of Winter the shortest day of the year and the least hours of daylight. It's at 10:27PM tonight for the record.  It's when the Earth's poles reaches its maximum tilt away from the sun (on the Summer Solstice June 20th, its tilt is closest toward the Sun).  And by the way, March 19th is the first day of Spring in 2024.  I might as well get that in there.
Weather today... it's 35° and clear with Ms Sun shining brightly and winds out of the North at 9-11mph.  It'll be another beauty as this week keeps putting out the Solstice hits.  Expect another sunny day with temps in the mid-40s and North winds at 10-15mph.  Tonight... clear skies, temps in the low-30s and N-NE winds at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow... mostly cloudy start with a partly cloudy day, temps in the low-40s and NE winds at 5-10mph.  For Saturday... cloudy, temps around 50° with light and variable winds.  And, Sunday... partly sunny, temps around 50° with light and variable winds.  For Christmas Day... partly sunny, temps around 50°.  It'll almost be the Full Moon on Christmas (it's actually Tuesday). Welcome Old Man Winter... please be kind.
