Gale's In The House

Mornin'! It's 52° in Wildwood NJ.  It's cloudy with some sprinkles of rain on my upstairs skylight.  Winds are calm out of the S-SW at 4-6mph.  There's a slight chance of rain this morning and again this afternoon (20% chance).  We're supposed to have a mix of sun and clouds throughout the day though.  Temps will be in the low-60s and Southerly breezes will be throughout the day and evening at 5-10mph.  Tonight... partly cloudy then becoming cloudy after midnight, temps will be in the low-50s with Southerly winds at 5-10mph.  There's a "Gale Watch" in effect from this evening through tomorrow afternoon.  Hunker down!  These winds will cause hazardous seas... you've been warned Mariners; remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, secure vessels.  Just saying. Tomorrow... cloudy early becoming windy with rain developing later in the day (80% chance).  Temps will be in the low 60s with S-SE winds at 20-30mph +gusting.  Tomorrow night... rain, temps in the mid-upper 50s and S-SE winds at 25-35mph +gusting.  Friday... mostly sunny, but in the morning there's a 50% chance of rain, temps will be in the low-60s with SW winds at 20-30mph +gusting.  Friday night... partly cloudy, 20% chance of rain, temps in the upper 40s and W-SW winds at 20-30mph +gusting.  As for this coming weekend...  Saturday looks partly cloudy with peeks of sun, temps in the low-60s and West winds at 20-30mph +gusting.  Sunday... intervals of sun and clouds, temps in the mid-upper 60s with SW winds at 10-15mph.  We could see rain again Sunday evening.  Yesterday, it was a beauty here on the island.  It was sunny with a high of 65°.   After an early morning stop at the garden center and buying my soil and compost, I had to take a walk along the beach. By the afternoon, I was planting my Canna Lily bulbs that I had dug up last year and kept stored over the winter.  They looked great after being stored away with mulch in a box all Winter and even had little roots beginning to grow.  I also planted all my Zinnia seeds.  It's a bit on the early side of the planting season, but I couldn't wait!  Fingers crossed.
