Sunday Beauty

Titanic compared to today's Cruise Ship

Mornin'!  It's 48° in Wildwood NJ.  Ms Sun's up and shining brightly in the cloudless sky.  Winds are light out of the SW at 5-10mph.  In the words of the Turtles... "It's a Beautiful Morning".  Things are going to change as the clouds will roll in making it a partly sunny day.  The winds will waft in making it a blustery day with S-SW winds at 10-20mph +gusting to 30mph and possibly even higher. Temps will be in the mid-60s.  Tonight... partly cloudy, still blustery with SW winds at 20-30mph, Temps in the mid-upper 50s.  Tomorrow... mostly sunny, temps in the low-70s (no typo), W-SW winds at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow night... partly cloudy, upper 50s and SW winds at 4-6mph
High Tide: 1:04PM
Low Tide: 7:08AM
Ocean Temp: 49°
Sunrise: 6:23AM
Sunset: 7:36PM
Tonight is 112 years that the Titanic hit an iceberg (11:40PM). It sunk at 2:20AM on the 15th of April as over 1500 victims lost their lives.  There were only enough lifeboats for a third of the people on board.  Only 337 bodies were recovered (one in five) as most sunk with the Titanic.  There are no survivors of the Titanic alive today.  The ship was never actually described as "unsinkable" as once thought.
