 Mornin'!  It's 74° in WW this overcast, gray, slightly breezy morn.  They're calling for mostly cloudy skies with peeks of sun today with temps heading back into the low-mid 80's.  Breezes will be out of the NE most of the day.  At the moment it looks kind of ominous and I wouldn't be surprised if it starts raining any minute.  Not sure about a beach day, but I wouldn't rule it out completely.  There's only a 10% chance of precipitation.  If you hit the beach, I had it reported to me first hand that the ocean is warm, clear and spectacular as of late.  Oh...it's that time of the month..."Full Moon" time that is.  It's coming up in 2 days on August 2, 2012 with the moon rising over the ocean at 8:14p.m. if the sky is clear of course.

Mornin'!  It's 73° this humid, quiet, tropical Monday morn.  Sun's up and trying its best to shine with some cloud cover giving some challenge.  The clouds will be hanging out as it'll be partly cloudy/sunny today with temps getting into the mid-upper 80's.  Breezes will be off the sea at 10-15mph.  There's still that chance of a pop-up thunderstorm or shower throughout the day as well.  It's been feeling a bit tropical on the island as of late with those sun showers steaming us up even more.  Love when the streets steam but I doubt if you'll see any of that today...it's going to be not as steamy.

Happy Birthday!

Mornin'!  It's 72° this summery, sunny, slightly breezy Sunday morning...this birthday morning of mine.  Got a shore house full of love and family and we're enjoying this beautiful seashore weather together  We're also all enjoying great time together.  Having a great weekend with  family, friends, music, great seafood from Dock Street Seafood and a lovely birthday cake baked by my daughter.  I've got a feeling...today's gonna be a good day! Temps will be heading on up to the upper 80's as the sun mixes with the clouds today.  There's a chance of isolated thunderstorm/showers all day today.  NE breezes will be wifting (I mean wafting) over us at 5-10mph.

Hot Fun In The Summertime

Mornin'!  It's 80° in Wildwood.  It's calm, sunny and humid this perfect summer morning.  Are we having hot fun in the summertime yet?  We're going to have a mix of clouds and sun with humidity climbing as the temps also climb into the mid-upper 80°s.  There's a 30% chance of scattered showers and/or thunderstorms later this afternoon.  Winds will be checking in from the South at 10-15mph.  Tomorrow's looking a bit better as the chance of rain is lower.  Not sure how the Christmas in July boat parade will fare tonight but I'm sure there's going to be some fun going on!

Mornin'!  It's 73° this early morn.  No breezes.  Sun's just about over the horizon.  A couple stars are still lingering in the sky.  The aroma of the back bay is in the air.  Humidity is in the air too as everything's damp.  It'll be hazy, hot and humid today with temps reaching the low 90's and heat indexes of 100°.  Winds will eventually kick up from the West at 10-15mph.  It'll be mostly sunny with that ol' haze covering the island today.  There's a chance of scattered afternoon showers and/or thunderstorms.  Keep your eye on the sky.  My call...beach day.  As for the weekend, nothing's changed as Sunday's still looking like the best of the two days.

Mornin'!  It's 72° in Wildwood with S-SW breezes wifting (I mean wafting) at a nice clip (15-20mph).  The morning clouds are beginning to fill in with some lovely seashore shades of coral, pink, violet, gold, as the sun's doing its best to rise and shine.  The summer muggies are checking back in today as temps will head into the high 80's perhaps tapping the 90° mark.  The SW breezes are sticking around all day too with some gusting of 25+mph causing some 6' surf.  Even with the breezes, it will feel hot and humid under the sunny haze.  So far, the weekend's looking ½ and ½ as Saturday's..."eh" and Sunday's looking like the better of the two days.

Mornin'!  It's 72° this clear, less humid, breezy morn in WW.  The local weather guy is saying it's the "pick of the week" as the humidity's gone allowing some refreshing air to cover the island.  A cool front blew through early last evening but didn't release a drop of rain.  Thanks to Mother Nature...the ol' hose had to be unraveled this morning for a bit of garden watering.  It almost felt like a school morning with that cooler seabreeze blowing in.  It'll be sunny all day and just tapping the mid-80's with blue skies and breezes at 10-15mph from the NW this morning and shifting from the SW by late this afternoon.  Yet...another beach day in Wildwood!

Mornin'!  It's 76° in WW this morning.  Winds are nothing to write home about but will eventually wift (I mean waft) out of the SW at 10-15mph and will continue throughout the day. It's cloudy at the moment and will continue to be partly cloudy and hazy sunshine.  Scattered rain showers are forecasted through most of today along with the possibility of thunderstorms by this afternoon.  It'll be hazy, hot and humid with temps tapping the 90° mark on the island.  Your call for a beach day.  It had that look (overcast and "iffy") yesterday too but turned out to be a decent beach day!

Mornin'!  It's 72° in WW this quiet start to the day and week.  No breezes to report.  The sun's up but at the moment is blocked by cloud cover this early morn.  It'll be partly sunny/partly cloudy (you choose).  Around dinner time...mostly cloudy as we may get rain showers. Temps will be in the low-mid 80's with W-SW breezes at 6-10mph.  For the most part today...looking like a decent day with lots to see and do.

Mornin'!  It's 70° this comfortable, quiet Sunday morn.  Our local weather man said today could be his "pick of the week".  Wildwood's under cloudy skies at the moment, but it'll become mostly sunny today with temps rising into the low-mid 80's with a SE seabreeze at 5-10mph.  Looks like I'll be picking the beach today!

Ahhhhhh.......

Mornin'!  It's 69° in Wildwood with clouds and breezes and a bit of a mist covering the island.  What a lovely change as the airconditioner is off and the sound of the sea and gulls can once again float through the windows.  Temps will climb into the low-mid 70's as the breezes will continue all day from the East at 10-20mph w/some minor gusting.  There will be a 30% chance of showers through most of the day but the sky's supposed to brighten with the sun peeking out by late this afternoon.  I'd prepare for a mostly cloudy start to the weekend.  The surf will be kicking up today and waves should be at least 6' high.  Guess it's a good day for some surfing, but I'd choose the Boards for a lick and a slice! Mornin'!  It's 78° this gray, wet, breezy morn.  Everthing's changed.  The storms and rains came last night.  Once again...raining harder than a bull pissing on a flat rock.  Actually, it was raining sideways.  Doesn't matter because all the gardens and more got watered.  The mosquitos will be happy.  The street sweepers have their work cut out for them as there's debris everywhere.  It's supposed to be damp and gray all day today and the first part of tomorrow.  There's 70% chance of light rainfall, showers, and thunderstorms as well as thunderstorms with gusting today.  Winds will be out of the East for the most part at 10-15mph though. Looks like a Friday washout.  Not one forecaster is calling for any sunshine. It's your call so keep an eye on the sky for your outdoor plans.  Seems to be my motto this week. Temps will just tap the 80° mark as the humidity will continue.  It's mushroom weather.   High tide:9:45a.m.

Innovative homemade beach game

Mornin'!  It's 78° with no breezes to blog about this hazy, hot and humid morning.  It'll be mostly cloudy and less hot today (mid-high 80's) with humidity sticking (no pun intended) around all day kicking our butts.  Heat index: 90's. The potential for showers and thunderstorms will be hanging around all day too.  I hope so as I didn't water the gardens last night thinking Mother Nature was about to do it for me.  For some reason, she missed Wildwood as those intense storm clouds/winds/thunder/lightning did pass over around dinner time last night without releasing one drop of rain.  What's with that?  Today's winds will eventually begin giving us a reprieve coming first from the North; then East at 10-15mph.  If heading to the beach...keep your eye on the sky.

July Beach Day in North Wildwood

Mornin'!  It's a balmy 80° and it's not 6a.m. yet!  We're having a heat wave and there's a heat advisory warning posted.  We're going to have sun with hazy conditions, hot/intense heat and oppressive humidity.  It'll be in the 90's today at the shore with heat indexes (feels like) of more than 100°.  Breezes are out of the SW at 10-15mph with some 20+gusts at times.  There's a 40% chance of rain today in some form or fashion, plus there could be thunderstorms developing by later this afternoon, or this evening and/or overnight.  We're also talking heavy rain, and/or hail, gusty winds and frequent lightning.  The beach patrol will close the beach if necessary as those guys are on it.  Heed the warnings, get inside and play it safe.  However, it is a beach day...enjoy!

Mornin'!  It's 79° this somewhat hazy morn.  The gulls seem to be happy...lots of gull chatter before 6a.m.!  It'll be hazy, hot and humid at the Shore.  Temps are going into the low-mid 90's.  Winds will be S-SW and hot across the island and beaches.  You know the drill...footwear, water, sunblock, umbrella, sandchair and anything else to make your beach day 5-star.  By the way...the seabreeze will be kicking in later this afternoon bringing us back into the 80° temps.

Dark Start

Mornin'!  It's 77° this dark, muggy morning in WW.  It feels heavy and humid outside as the sun's about to cross the horizon.  I doubt if we'll see the sun rising this morning as there's thick cloud cover now.  It's got that ominous look outside along with some heavy humidty and throw in some of that "sea" fragrance.  Temps are going into the high 80's and may tap 90° as the start of the next heatwave and tropical air and humidity begin to ramp up.   It looks like it will continue through the end of this week too.  We should see periods of sun through the haze today as there's still that chance of a shower and/or thunderstorm later.  Winds will pick up later from the W-NW at 10-12mph.  No breezes at the moment.  If beaching, keep your eyes on the skies as well as your beach carts.

It's 79° this bright, (at the moment sunny) Sunday morn.  However, forecasters are saying more clouds than sun today. Won't be as gray as yesterday but a mostly cloudy day is what most sources I've checked are saying.  They're also reporting that it'll be gray with peeks of hazy sunshine; more dry than wet with a chance of a scattered shower and/or thunderstorm today.  Temps are heading into the mid-80's with a SW breeze of 10-15mph.

Mornin'!  It's 76° in Wildwood under cloudy, gray skies.  That ol' Sun is trying its best but losing the battle as it's kind of a bright sky out there at the moment.  There's a bit of a breeze out of the West this morning at 10-15mph.  They'll be shifting from the South a bit later.  Humidity will be up a bit with temps hitting the low-80's.  So, it's looking like a gray Saturday and perhaps gray weekend as the forecasters are saying "lots of clouds", "mostly cloudy", "overcast", "scattered showers", "possible thunderstorms" and even "chance of downpours".  I'm thinking perhaps not a beachday!  There's plenty to do though...check out the Events Calendar!

Another Mixed Bag and Friday the 13th!

 Mornin'! It's 70 lovely degrees this Friday. The sunrise is once again trying to win the battle and shine but the clouds are winning at the moment. I'm sure the sun will be making its appearance though as it's very bright out there.  It'll be much like yesterday with clouds and sun mixing it up as it will partly sunny/partly cloudy throughout the day. Temps will reach the low-80's and breezes will be off the sea (NE) at 10mph keeping that island lovliness. It should be a nice evening for the Anglesea Blues/BBQ Fest kick off tonight in North Wildwood. (My favorite of all the Fests...great food and music!) Tomorrow as the Fest continues throughout the entire weekend, the weather looks mostly cloudy and we could have some periodic rain showers and/or thunderstorms (40% chance) both Saturday and Sunday. I hope not, but I'll be keeping a close eye on that.

Mornin'!  It's 74° this partly cloudy morning.  It's pretty much like yesterday's start to the day.  A bit gray with the Sun doing it's best to rise and shine.  It'll be mostly sunny today with temps hitting the low-mid 80's with a twist of humidity thrown in.  Winds (nothing at the moment) will commence later this morning and give the island a variety of breeze directions first from the North at 10-12mph; shifting from the East; and ending the day out of the South.  Love when that happens as long as West isn't in the mix keeping the biting flies away.  The beach is waiting!

Mornin'!  It's 74° this summer Wildwood morn.  It feels nice out as the humidity's dropped, and the seabreeze is wifting (I mean wafting) over the island.  It'll be warming, humid and partly sunny/partly cloudy today as temps rise into the low-mid 80's.  Winds will pick up a bit from the E-NE at 10-15mph.  There's a 20% chance of a shower today but the forecasters said that yesterday and nothing showed up.  I'd go with a beach day!

Mornin'!  It's 73° under somewhat cloudy skies this early morn in WW.  The sun's doing its best to shine and brighten the sky making nicely colored clouds.  It's going to tap the 80° mark as today may have more clouds than sun. There's a slight chance of a passing isolated thunderstorm later (20%).  There's a bit of a breeze at the moment coming from the SE at 10mph and will shift from the NE by this afternoon.

Mornin'!  It's 73° this rainy morn.  Wildwood's been under thunder and lightning attack since 2-3a.m. this morning.  The rains began around then too.  No flooding to speak of, but a nice steady rain is coming down as I blog.  There's a 40% chance of showers throughout most of the day as the morning's a given for rainfall with breaks of sun by afternoon. Temps have settled down from the oppressive heat and are not getting out of the upper 70's/low 80's today.  Winds will be out of the N-NE at 10-20mph after shifting from the W-SW.  You'll find plenty to do on the island rain or shine!

July Sunday

Mornin'!  It's 82° this Sunday morn in Wildwood.  There's a tiny breeze (6mph) coming from the N-NE and the humidity isn't as thick as the last couple mornings. The AC's still on though.  The heat and humidity will ramp up as it once again becomes hazy, hot and humid with the thermometer just tapping 90°.  Winds will shift later from the SE at 10-15mph.  Thunderstorms are likely (the forecasters have been mentioning them all weekend) sometime later this afternoon/evening bringing along a cool front as temps will drop into the high 70's/low 80's.  At this point...my bets are another beach day, that is after a delicious Sunday morning breakfast and fresh linens on the bed! Life is good.

1st Saturday in July

Mornin'!  It's 78° this morning in WW this first saturday in July.  Sun's up and beginning to put us on simmer.  It'll be hot and sunny today with temps going into the mid 90's with heat indexes (what it will feel like) of 101°.  You talk about simmering.  Winds will be out of the West initially then shift from the SW at 10-15mph.  That's a "hot" breeze keep in mind.  And, a "hot" one for the 3rd annual Hereford Lighthouse Festival.  Hat, keep hydrated and take it slow.   If beaching...a must: footwear (the sand is impossible to walk on barefoot), umbrella, sunblock, fly repellent, cool water to drink.  Options: bucket and shovels, a blanket for under the umbrella or a sandchair to sit in the water, lunch, snacks, music, something good to read, spray bottle of water to mist yourself while under the umbrella, money for the fudgy-wudgy man which I got yesterday thanks to Jimmie! See you at the beach.

Seabreeze is back!

Mornin'!  It's 78° this bit of a breezy morn.  The best part is...it's a Seabreeze!  Thank god.  No seabreezes as of late and that stupid, fly-ridden landbreeze was a furnace and I'm being kind.  While we're on the subject...let's talk breezes shall we? They're currently out of the N-NE at 11-16mph and will shift to the SE at 5-10mph later.  It's all good as long as there's an "east" in the direction.  This morning there's sea fragrance is in the air.  Sun's shining.  Sky is blue.  Flags are flying.  The island's crowded.  4th of July is still in the air.  More fireworks tonight in WW.  It'll just tap the 90° mark today as it'll be sunny, hot and humid only with some seabreeze.  See ya at the beach again!

Mornin'!  It's 88° this late morning and day 2 of my mini-vacation.  Life is good here on the ol' island!  It's sunny and hot and a perfect beach day.  Been doing alot of that as of late.  It's going into the low-mid 90's today with a WNW breeze at 10-15mph (pack the biting fly spray to the beach just in case) and those breezes could bring the greenheads.  See you at the beach!

Mornin'!  It's 74° this lovely day.  The morning sky is just lovely with amazingly, colorful clouds as the sun's up doing its thing...making it all look so beautiful.  No breezes, yet the aroma of the sea is in the air.  It'll be another warm, humid, mostly sunny summer day in the WWs.  Temps will reach the mid-high 80's.  Breezes begin out of the West then shift from the South all at 11-15mph.  There's a full moon tonight and it's rising at 8:21p.m. if you're lucky enough to be on the beach to catch it.  There's a possibility (40% chance) of a thunderstorm late tonight.  Alot going on...keep your eyes on the sky.
